Microsoft Power BI has many features and there is not a lot to improve. However, the licensing can be confusing. When deciding between Pro and Premium, I find it difficult to distinguish what features are offered by Pro and what features are offered by Premium, including the particular differences to choose between both licensing models. Additionally, some features such as DAX, which I mentioned previously, involve DAX calculations and complex data modeling, which are somewhat advanced and not easily understandable. Prior knowledge is required or you need to go through the documentation. If the documentation is made comprehensive so that anyone with no knowledge on DAX can easily use it by going through the documentation, it would be really helpful. Additionally, if the integration with non-Microsoft tools is improved and performance is optimized, then Microsoft Power BI can become a top-ranked visualization tool. The user experience with Microsoft Power BI is quite good. The intuitive user interface makes it easy for both technical and non-technical users to create reports. However, only the advanced features are somewhat complex, and if the documentation is improved, it can be easily accessible.

It also bridges the gap between technical and non-technical users. Analysts can use SQL while business users can work with spreadsheet-like formulas, so more people can self-serve without constant data team support. As a result, we can answer questions faster, iterate on analysis in one place, and scale reporting more reliably across teams. Omni has positively impacted our organization because it helps us answer questions faster, iterate on analysis in one place, and scale reporting more reliably across teams. This tool has also been very beneficial because it simplifies tracking key metrics, improves visibility across different data sources, and makes it easier to identify trends and patterns without depending heavily on technical teams. It also saves time, supports better decision-making, and enables more efficient reporting through centralized dashboards and visual analytics. I can give you a specific example of how much time my team has saved since using Omni: it has greatly improved our decision-making from 40 to 68 percent. We have also been able to save time ranging from 60 to 70 percent.

Currently, you need to purchase a full license of Power BI Pro just to see something, which is not attractive. However, if you only want to see a dashboard, there is no license for that. I only want to see the dashboard, and I don't want to do anything more than watching the information on the dashboard. This is one of the areas of opportunity because I would like a lot of people to be able to see a shared dashboard, not to interact with it or to collaborate online with it. I would like to see more compatibility with non-Microsoft data sources. Given the fact that everything is related to Microsoft Azure and all services available on Microsoft Azure, I see that they're building more connections to Microsoft Azure services instead of other non-Microsoft services. I understand the strategy, but it would be good to have more compatibility with non-Microsoft data sources."
