Endpoint monitoring has become faster and has reduced alert response time for our clients
The best features that Alert Logic MDR offers include AI and behavior analysis, which I find most valuable. AI and behavior analysis mean that within AI there is static AI analysis and behavior analysis with subtypes. For example, if there is any file or a certain subtype, or if ransomware is happening, or any tool or app is being used, there are subtypes of AI. I appreciate that Alert Logic MDR has a separate AI for each type. Alert Logic MDR has positively impacted our organization by minimizing the alert SLA timing. When we used our other endpoint detection and response solution, we required at least fifteen minutes to raise one alert. After using Alert Logic MDR, we integrated it with SOAR technology, so within five minutes, the alert is raised to the client. Efficiency-wise, reducing the alert SLA timing to five minutes has been very beneficial. Whenever we receive an alert from endpoint detection and response from an endpoint to the Alert Logic MDR console, the system directly has the protect mode, conducting the kill and quarantine process itself. We only have to perform static analysis, and we have the playbooks, so they conduct some static analysis from there and directly raise the alert to the respective team.

Centralized console enables efficient incident management and threat intelligence integration
I am struggling to export all alerts, such as those from the past five to six months, at once. I would like to extract these alerts in Excel format in one go, but I have not found this feature yet. I raised a ticket to the OEM, but I have not received a solution.

Quotes from Members

Pros

"The most valuable feature of the solution is endpoint management...The solution's support team is quite good at giving us feedback if there is an issue."
"I would definitely recommend Alert Logic because it is a good product that constantly adds new features and changes interfaces."
"It implemented pretty quickly; we have everything you need, and while it would typically take a lot of other solutions weeks to set up, this set up within fifteen minutes, which is pretty slick, and it has a lot of different interfaces."
"The initial setup is pretty straightforward."
"The quick reaction and the ability to restore the state before within a short time are significant."
"Alert Logic MDR has positively impacted our organization by minimizing the alert SLA timing."
"The solution was consistently available, and I cannot recall any instances where it was down."
"Technical support is pretty decent with Alert Logic."
"The tool has significantly improved threat detection and response times for my clients' organizations. The solution has performed exceptionally well, and my customers are pleased with both the performance of the system and the support they receive."
"The features are such that MDR is a part of XDR, which includes different products."
"The most valuable feature of Trend Micro Managed XDR is the console."
"I appreciate the detection and response methodology used against virus and ransomware attacks."
"The response time to any issues is very quick, providing a high level of client satisfaction."
"The initial setup is very straightforward. CIOs appreciate the ease of installation, server configuration, and the user-friendly dashboard."
"Trend Micro Managed XDR has indeed enhanced our customers' threat detection capabilities. Many of our clients are utilizing it and have experienced positive outcomes. Overall, I would recommend it, especially considering the rising popularity of Trend Micro and its excellent product support."
"The most valuable feature of Trend Micro Managed XDR is that it protects all of the layers."

Cons

"If the language barrier was addressed, it would lower the barrier for a number of German customers. It would take away a unique selling point for our own specialist managed service."
"We'd like to have triggered alerts sent to us so we see errors quicker."
"Our ROI would probably be zero. We don't even use it."
"The documentation, especially with the initial setup, needs improvement."
"I think Alert Logic MDR could be improved."
"I would like to see it do initial scans and start capturing data, which it will truly analyze, not just be a reporting system saying, "Here is an email. Here is an email. Here is an email.""
"This product needs to mature more. While it is a good product, there are some areas where it needs work."
"For every new client or every new case, my company has to spin up a new instance, because of which there is a new URL."
"On the financial side, it is quite expensive. If they could reduce the prices, it could attract more customers who are currently deterred by the cost."
"I am struggling to export all alerts, such as those from the past five to six months, at once. I would like to extract these alerts in Excel format in one go, but I have not found this feature yet."
"Trend Micro Managed XDR could improve its support documents. This would allow us to explore the solution better and provide a better presentation to our customers. Addiontaally, there could be more automation features."
"Being cost-effective is crucial, allowing customers with lower budgets to access the services. Offering a range of services at various price points ensures that customers can find suitable options without being compelled to explore alternative products or vendors."
"There is a need for greater integration of non-Microsoft devices."
"On the financial side, it is quite expensive."
"The main drawback is the lack of local language support in Oman."
"The product could benefit from some improvements in its interface and organization. Functionality-wise, it performs well, but there's room for enhancement in terms of user-friendliness. There are ample resources like documents and videos provided by most vendors to assist users, although reaching out for direct support might not always be straightforward."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"Our ROI would probably be zero. We don't even use it. It sits in there. We get emails and just delete them. Around the world, we don't even use it."
"Price of the solution was very reasonable considering the size of our organization at the time, and so it worked out perfectly."
"Its pricing is very reasonable considering what you get for what you pay. There is quite a good value there. Its licensing is also very logical. They've got the licensing price points at a reasonable level. It is on a monthly license but a yearly contract. There are no additional costs to the standard licensing fees."
"Almost any product that is on the AWS Marketplace is super easy to subscribe to."
"Price-wise, Cybereason Managed Detection & Response is effective for larger companies, but if you have a small company with less than 1,000 employees, then it gets expensive."
"Alert Logic has better competitive pricing than some of its competitors."
"The solution's pricing falls within a reasonable range—it's not the most expensive option out there, nor the cheapest."
"There is a subscription needed to use Trend Micro Managed XDR. We are on an annual license."
"Trend Micro's solutions are considerably more expensive than competitors."
"The solution is cost-effective."
"I rate the tool's pricing a six out of ten."
