Everyone knows the tool and adapts swiftly, making teamwork efficient
Jira Align has become a standard in this industry, so everybody knows how to use it. Everybody knows Jira Align, so it is not hard to adapt to projects and customers. That is the aspect I appreciate the most. It is very scalable, and I appreciate that. Because it is a standard, as I mentioned, though not an official one, Jira Align is adapting to the latest approaches such as Scrum and Kanban. It is really easy to set up a project and start working with the team. Everybody knows Scrum, everybody knows Kanban, or a combination of both. That is the benefit I see, and the UI is very intuitive.

A highly stable and flexible solution that provides modules that are far superior to any other tools in the market
It's hard to learn the best practices. It is hard to keep up with changes. There's a lot of great improvements. We don't always know about them. There have been a lot of changes in the suggested uses of the product over the last five years. There are some things that we don't even know about. It would be nice to have an idea of the vision of the use of the product compared to how we're using it. For example, the solution is so customizable that we can create a form and drop half the fields. However, someone else might think the dropped fields are important for AI. I won't be using it because I don't know. So, my results will end up being substandard because of it.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"The interface of Jira Align is very easy to use and manage"
"The technical support team responds quickly and resolves issues effectively."
"The product's most valuable feature is CMDB for services desk management and backlog projects."
"The linking of PI Objectives with different features was one of the cool things. It had features, epics, and stories out of the box."
"Being able to do PI planning using the program levels is most valuable. I find that the program-level reporting is most useful."
"The most valuable features are the ability to customize the entries and to update them quickly. Since the new version they released, we started utilizing the customization features to create specific codes and symbols for our teams that were not available before. For example, in team A each person had their own symbols and we had our own demarcation. When our project or task was completed, we had a code that we could enter online that let the main project managers know that it was time to remove it."
"Some of the most valuable features are the configurations and dashboards."
"Jira Align's most valuable feature is the view of strategic control reports for high-level directors."
"The solution is flexible."

Cons

"Jira Align can improve the visibility of executive teams."
"The product should improve its communication. My English proficiency is not high, but writing in English is another skill that you need. Maybe AI can help here. Because I can see in some other applications, they have AI helpers. So when you write something and you want to do something, it can help. For example, Google Cloud Platform has it. They have a helpdesk for it. When you want to create a cluster, it can help you."
"The platform's communication features could be more robust for better team integration."
"Someone who is new to Jira or doesn't have many years of working experience in Jira Align gets easily lost because everything looks the same in the product."
"The vendor should implement automation features"
"One feature that needs improvement is the tool's ability to change schedules automatically. Users can't simply drag and drop tasks to reschedule them without notifying the entire team. This lack of functionality can hinder project management control, as changes should be communicated transparently to all team members."
"One area where Jira Align could be improved is mobile accessibility."
"Lacks sufficient reporting capabilities."
"It is hard to keep up with changes."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"Jira Align is an expensive solution."
"The software is very good, but the price is expensive. Our licensing costs are on a monthly basis, but there are no additional costs to the standard license fees."
"Jira Align has price packages for different purposes."
"At our company, we were concerned about the cost of Jira Align, which is expensive"
"My company pays approximately 399 USD per month for the solution."
"On a scale of one to ten, where one is cheap, and ten is expensive, I rate Jira Align a seven out of ten."
"The license for Jira Align is priced fairly."
"I would rate this solution a nine out of ten for pricing. The price of the solution depends on the number of people using it and the projects you are working on."
