Room For Improvement

Users seek improved pricing clarity, bandwidth control, security, integration, dashboard functionality, intuitive interface, SSDs, and flexible licensing.
VMware Aria Operations needs user-friendly enhancements, improved integration, and better documentation amid stability and pricing concerns.
Many customers do not rely on just one cloud provider and want to work with multiple clouds.
When the product works, there is really nothing to fix, but they can allow different types of backups, such as differential or incremental backups.
Customers have commented on the pricing issues, noting that doubling the price is not normal.
Stability is a significant area that needs improvement as I experience frequent disconnections and interruptions in data collection.
One area that needs improvement is the solution's connectivity and integration with other products, such as IBM and Huawei servers and storage.

Setup Cost

Infrascale's pricing is competitive and flexible, though users find the licensing structure complex and occasionally higher than competitors.
VMware Aria Operations' perceived high costs and complex licensing challenge justifications, yet integration with VMware suites adds value.
To someone considering Infrascale but is concerned about the price, I would say that they should get Infrascale's service no matter what it costs because any downtime or any loss of data is substantially worse than any cost for backup.
The per-terabyte pricing is very competitive compared to the others.
This makes the cost complex to determine individually.
VMware Aria Operations is considered overpriced.
The pricing and cost of VMware Aria Operations increased significantly after Broadcom acquired VMware.

Performing backup and recovery can be done very intuitively with the solution and the interface that is part of the solution.
It allows me to perform deep monitoring and logging of the entire environment, providing a quick alarm and warning system through email.
The most valuable features of VMware Aria Operations are its stability, ease of use, and extensive range of features.
The valuable features of VMware Aria Operations include the single pane of glass for all my environments, which allows a deep dive into the metrics.

The overall ease of use and ease of management using the dashboard is excellent
I can't really think of anything that really needs to be improved from my perspective, because I only use the backup. Maybe someone who is using something else might have a different opinion on that. But for the online backup and recovery tool, I'm not going to say there's anything that needs improvement. They can always improve stuff. But from the top of my head, I can't think of anything. It does what it needs to do. That's it. It doesn't need to do anything more than what it does and nothing less than what it's doing. The Infrascale dashboard when it comes to centralized deployment and configuration is excellent. I have no problems with the solution. They could always make it better. They can always make the GUI a little bit nicer, the interface level a bit better. There's always room for improvement, but there's nothing on the top of my head that's saying, "Hey, this is what needs to be fixed." But, the programmers are probably working on their own things. So, there's always room for improvement.

Enabled us to cut the cost of resources and manage our infrastructure with a smaller team
There's a feature known as Smart Alerts in vRealize Operations, which I have found to be useful if there's anything going wrong in the infrastructure. What usually happens is that you get so many alerts that you become confused. Smart Alerts give you visibility into your infrastructure and also recommend how to fix the situation. That's a feature which I'm really a fan of. Control, from the compliance perspective, is also helpful because we are a PCI DSS-certified company. It keeps us in compliance so that all of our servers and other things are not breaching any of the baseline protocols and baseline policies which we have laid down for the company. That's another thing which I like about the VMware vROps.
