Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"The most valuable feature of the IBM Db2 Database is the ease of use, and the ability to do query writing of any SQL statement and have an output.""Its robustness, scalability, availability, and performance are valuable. All these are the major attributes of a relational database for supporting a very high-volume business, and Db2 is very good in all those areas and in all those attributes.""Db2's best features are that it's self-maintaining and self-monitoring, which means I have to view and monitor the database far less often.""The solution is a very stable relational database and has integration with legacy systems. It is a great product.""It is a scalable solution.""I believe that because the support is good, they jump in and assist us in determining the root cause.""The most valuable features of this solution are security and stability.""The self-management and optimization features are probably the best on the market"

"The solution is stable.""There have been no issues in relation to stability. We've never really had do to any recoveries. It is very stable.""The additional value of having Java inside the Oracle database is all the security that is applied to an Oracle database will be enforced on Java's stored procedures as well.""Able to write queries more efficiently and the management of data has become better and easier.""It has a programming language so anything that we require for Selenium is all available there.""The most valuable feature is automation.""It's very clever."

Cons
"Their view of it is they're maintaining it, they're continuing to upgrade it, they're continuing to grow it, however, they don't go out and try and sell that as an architectural solution the way they do Linux and Unix.""Not very solid compared to its competitors' products.""I would like to see some artificial intelligence brought into the solution.""The solution no longer supports POWER8.""I would say that the tool has to be made more cloud-friendly and should have agreements with AWS, Microsoft, or Google to run things on hyperscalers.""There could be better integration with some cloud solutions.""The technical support team is not very good when compared to the efficiency of Oracle's support.""The only drawback that we see in Db2 Database is the crash recovery. When there is a crash and somebody has to do the recovery, Db2 Database first stops, and then it does any crash recovery. In Oracle Database, crash recovery happens within the database. The database is not shut down."

More IBM Db2 Database Cons →

"The biggest lesson that I have learned from using Oracle products is vendor lock-in.""Needs improvement in consistency issues with respect to timeframes.""It'll be better if Oracle Java supports open source technologies, like Node.js.""The solution should continue to keep updating and improving the Java language.""In terms of improvement, I'd like an automation tool that is lower priced. The core prices are very high.""The solution could be more user-friendly."
