Setup is straightforward from a business user standpoint but MAQL needs to be easier.
Cloud connect Report generator MAQL needs to be easier Better row-level security for end-users I've used it for nine months, mainly for implementation and delivery to customers. No issues encountered. No issues encountered. When the source is big and/or the source is Netsuite there are…

Daily invoice analytics has become streamlined and complex data modeling is now simplified
We are not using analytics features and possibly predictive analytics and forecasting features in QlikView, although they are available. QlikView is very flexible, but we are currently using only tabular presentation of data because that is what we need. Presenting a large volume of data in QlikView with graphics can be overwhelming for the majority of people who want to see a lot of information in one picture. It would be beneficial to have AI or ML features in QlikView. However, I think they will decommission QlikView, and AI features are already available in Qlik Sense, so you would need to migrate to that platform.

"The dynamic interactive dashboard is the most valuable feature of the product to me."
"We have increased our revenues by 30% because the rapid and effective insights provided with the analytics we built with Qlik."
"The platform's most valuable feature is its associative data model. It allows me to discover hidden data and gain insights that are not immediately visible."
"We create BI solutions so our customers benefit from solutions that are delivered in weeks rather than months and we look good by providing timely value-for-money solutions"
"We realised instant value through data discovery not previously possible with traditional BI."
"Uniformization of KPIs across all departments brings efficacy and effectiveness to coworkers in problem solving."
"In your own time, you can then get insights and report, build, analyze, and draw whatever you need from the data, which is quite useful."
"The in-memory engine is really powerful, making it possible to deal with huge data records on the fly (more than 400 million in a table)."

Cons

"When the source is big and/or the source is Netsuite there are issues."
"QlikView is a very heavy RAM utilizer (all strong BI tools are). When we hit around 20 concurrent users, the user experience began to suffer."
"Pricing is a bit too high and I think licenses should be unlimited."
"Still need to spend time designing the Data Warehouse behind this tool to facilitate user self service model."
"It needs JDBC connection for different databases."
"It is well know that the ETL is quite far away from leading products like Data Stage, Informatica and others."
"We had issues with scalability."
"Technical support is average."
"It requires a lot of RAM on the PC."
