Pros
"A fully integrated solution.""The most valuable feature is the centralized management console.""The product is a combination of management and monitoring from the same interface.""The user interface is very easy to navigate.""The features are good.""It can scale well.""FortiManager's most valuable feature is central management.""It is easy to deploy to licenses."

"Technical support is fantastic.""Qualys has a continuous endpoint monitoring feature for agent-based scanning. Once you deploy the solution, it monitors everything that is happening every 30 minutes. Then, if there are any vulnerabilities, they are reported.""It is very easy to use and there are lots of options. We can usually easily go through it and all of the things we want to configure, and we can configure everything to our specifications very easily.""The prioritization feature is great. I think it has all of the advanced features that we need.""The most valuable feature is automation.""It is a simple solution that makes scanning easy. You just give it a scheduled task, and it will do everything for you.""I like that we have many scanners and channels that don't overload. It helps us scan and track easily. Also, the tagging system is good for tagging. We can still use QualysAgent task ID tools even if tags aren't made.""Technical support is great and we've never really had a problem."

Cons
"Troubleshooting for Fortinet products is more difficult than competing products like Cisco and Palo Alto.""The scalability has room for improvement.""When I started, it was a bit difficult, however, now it's okay. It can be a bit complex for basic users.""This solution needs more experienced technical support staff. There's nothing special about it compared to other vendors.""The information extraction through command lines was could improve to some extent. Although there were some command lines available, there were not enough options. For instance, I needed to obtain the management IP address of my two Fortigates, but the Fortinet FortiManager did not provide me with the IP address on the LAN interface. I attempted to find this information through the command line but was unsuccessful. I also searched for articles on the internet, but could not find a solution. This is an aspect that could be improved or potentially there is a method to access this information that I have yet to discover.""The interface could be improved. It is split up into different areas, which makes it more difficult to navigate and get the right section of the correct file. The solution is quite expensive, so it would not be suitable for small to medium sized organizations.""I prefer configuring rules and the VPN on the standalone device, not on the manager.""Regional support in African countries needs to be improved."

"It is a struggle to be able to pull our report and to be able to do onboarding using automated tools.""They're still evolving their platform in terms of reporting capabilities.""Could use additional security for the app.""Qualys could improve the inbuilt dashboards.""Endpoint stability and fault resolution could be improved.""We are moving away from Qualys to Defender ATP because I find that Defender ATP is much better at prioritizing the vulnerabilities that I should be looking at.""Reports were lacking somewhat on the customization side.""Make some minimal dashboard improvements."
