A financial planning solution for healthcare that allows you to analyze information for future budgets
It's good because of the benefit it gives in relation to the cost. Other solutions are very expensive to deliver. The solution is a financial planning solution for healthcare, so it helps predict the budget for the next year. A lot of hospitals in Brazil are using Excel and manually calculating these things, so it provides a lot of benefit to clients. This solution is very complete. There are a lot of models for different areas, like oncology, neurology, etc. It shows you the different revenues and profits for each area and allows you to analyze the information in detail. It gives you a good picture of the situation and helps you make a business decision. If the customer has any problems before, during, or after implementation, Ernst & Young help to solve the problem.

Endpoint monitoring has become faster and has reduced alert response time for our clients
The best features that Alert Logic MDR offers include AI and behavior analysis, which I find most valuable. AI and behavior analysis mean that within AI there is static AI analysis and behavior analysis with subtypes. For example, if there is any file or a certain subtype, or if ransomware is happening, or any tool or app is being used, there are subtypes of AI. I appreciate that Alert Logic MDR has a separate AI for each type. Alert Logic MDR has positively impacted our organization by minimizing the alert SLA timing. When we used our other endpoint detection and response solution, we required at least fifteen minutes to raise one alert. After using Alert Logic MDR, we integrated it with SOAR technology, so within five minutes, the alert is raised to the client. Efficiency-wise, reducing the alert SLA timing to five minutes has been very beneficial. Whenever we receive an alert from endpoint detection and response from an endpoint to the Alert Logic MDR console, the system directly has the protect mode, conducting the kill and quarantine process itself. We only have to perform static analysis, and we have the playbooks, so they conduct some static analysis from there and directly raise the alert to the respective team.

Pros

"This solution is very complete. There are a lot of models for different areas, like oncology, neurology, etc. It shows you the different revenues and profits for each area and allows you to analyze the information in detail."
"The main benefit of this solution is that you have intelligence and functionality behind the solution to predict numbers."
"My advice would be to go ahead with the product because it really is a very good tool that adds a lot of value."
"We receive infrastructure security warnings from it. So, we know what is going on and what needs to be addressed."
"The solution was consistently available, and I cannot recall any instances where it was down."
"The installation and configuration were slick."
"The most valuable aspect of Alert Logic is its technology platform. They have SOCs in the US and Europe, giving them global visibility of the threat landscape. They detect and respond to threats in minutes. Their biggest value is human expertise. You're being attacked by a human, and you cannot respond to it unless you have a human on the other side. They have the human and technological resources to respond."
"Alert Logic MDR has positively impacted our organization by minimizing the alert SLA timing."
"The initial setup is pretty straightforward."
"Automated information on zero-day threats is provided without us needing to ask."

Cons

"The big challenge is when a company doesn't use SAP as ERP. If the company uses other kinds of systems to manage their information, it's a challenge because this product is integrated with SAP."
"The big challenge is when a company doesn't use SAP as ERP."
"As a user involved with the user interface, I believe there is a need to continue improving it based on feedback from our customers."
"For every new client or every new case, my company has to spin up a new instance, because of which there is a new URL."
"I would like more data on the alert payload. It would be good to have the ability to customize the alert payload to add whatever data that we want on there. Right now, it is a bit limited."
"I think Alert Logic MDR could be improved."
"One major missing feature was the ability to see if vulnerabilities were exploitable, which required extra effort for us."
"This product needs to mature more. While it is a good product, there are some areas where it needs work."
"Alert Logic needs to expand its SOCs to serve more markets, such as the Middle East and Asia. There should be infrastructure that covers more time zones. The company should also develop an EDR that is natively integrated into their solution. Currently, a client must buy another EDR solution like CrowdStrike or Sophos. I think Alert Logic is developing this. Built-in email security could also be developed and integrated."
"They have ideas and email you whatever they find, but they don't have a dedicated security team who will work on an attack or a specific security instance."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The cost is good in relation to the benefit."
"Price of the solution was very reasonable considering the size of our organization at the time, and so it worked out perfectly."
"Almost any product that is on the AWS Marketplace is super easy to subscribe to."
"Our ROI would probably be zero. We don't even use it. It sits in there. We get emails and just delete them. Around the world, we don't even use it."
"Alert Logic has better competitive pricing than some of its competitors."
"Its pricing is very reasonable considering what you get for what you pay. There is quite a good value there. Its licensing is also very logical. They've got the licensing price points at a reasonable level. It is on a monthly license but a yearly contract. There are no additional costs to the standard licensing fees."
"Price-wise, Cybereason Managed Detection & Response is effective for larger companies, but if you have a small company with less than 1,000 employees, then it gets expensive."
