Pros
"The initial setup is simple.""The solution has minimized the recovery time objective, and the recovery point objective, the RTO and RPO. Most customers are looking for to minimize downtime. The solution has helped ensure this.""NetWorker has very good scalability.""Technical support is good.""It's a good product that can be integrated easily with the Data domain.""The software’s best feature is data backup for any system.""Deduplication is the most valuable feature of this solution.""I started off as a storage engineer and ended up owning Dell EMC Data Domain and Dell EMC NetWorker. I've not used any other backup solutions at this scale. Dell EMC NetWorker does what I need it to do, it's efficient."

It's straightforward.""The Veeam Backup and Replication Suite is very user-friendly.""The initial setup was straightforward. It's not complicated. It takes around half an hour to implement, but it depends on the performance of the server that you are installing the backup software on.""The really amazing feature about Veeam Agent is that when you're using the central deployment model, you can actually use the instant VM recovery feature, which is really a pain point that I find some days.""The user interface is good.""It's simple to use."

Cons
"It's complex in nature.""There are too many reboots and the software requires constant updating.""NetWorker sometimes has issues with the backup not starting and with connecting to the Oracle servers.""The implementation process could be improved.""The team does not have enough knowledge to support you.""It would be beneficial to have a single user interface for all of the features.""The support is an area with concerns where improvements are required.""We are able to do direct backups, but analyzing the logs is not straightforward."

"It would be much better if more applications were supported on the Linux side. For example, their agent for Windows not only can back up the Windows machine, but it can also back up Active Directory for granular restore, SQL servers, Exchange, Oracle, SharePoint, etc. When it comes to Linux, only Oracle databases are supported. There are workarounds, though.""The price of Veeam Agent for Linux could be reduced.""The integration needs improvement.""Scalability, if you are talking about Linux, is good. However, if you need to backup more types of solutions or Unix systems, like HP/UX, AIX, etc., it's not compatible.""In terms of the physical environment, I'd like them to integrate it with other kinds of solutions. We don't just work with Microsoft or Linux, but other kinds of infrastructure data as well.""In the next version, I would like to see an increase in the locations online. I have found that other products have good pickup location.""It's scalable, but it's not scalable on every platform.""We are currently waiting for the continuous backup process."
