Automation has transformed complex contract lifecycles and now supports high-volume workflows
The only drawback of Conga Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) is that it does not work for small-scale business areas because I have implemented it for one customer with four or five pages of templates and three to four record types. For that small business, Conga Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) does not work well because it is a bit complicated. Sometimes all customers need is a click of a button to go in and do things, and Conga Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) is a bit complicated for such kinds of businesses. There are definitely areas where Conga Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) could be easier to use for smaller businesses, particularly making processes more streamlined and user-friendly.

Streamlined quote-to-cash has improved pricing accuracy and supports complex discount approvals
Overall, Salesforce CPQ is a powerful solution, but there are a few areas where I think it could be improved. One area is the complexity of configuration and maintenance. As product catalogs, pricing models, and business rules become more complex, administration can require significant expertise. Simplifying configuration and troubleshooting would be beneficial. From a user experience perspective, some areas of Salesforce CPQ could be made more intuitive, especially for new users working with complex product configurations and pricing structures. A more streamlined interface and guided setup options could help reduce the learning curve. Salesforce CPQ is a very strong product, but a few enhancements would make it a ten out of ten for me. The biggest area is complexity; as product catalogs, pricing rules, and approval processes become more advanced, the configuration and maintenance can require significant expertise. Simplifying administration and troubleshooting would make the platform easier to manage.

"I rate Conga Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) a seven due to issues I experience during document generation, specifically when newly generated quotes do not download correctly, causing replication of previous quotes, which can be frustrating and problematic in client interactions."

"Conga Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) is a powerful platform, but there are a few areas where improvements could enhance the user experience."
