Consistent automation has improved deployments and supports efficient client-facing workflows
Deployment and other processes are feasible for me, making this a smooth process. The integration part is good. We can use multiple things by integrating with CI/CD pipelines, and this is very feasible for us. This allows us to do our work easily. The productivity is very good. CloudBees is a good and efficient tool. We can work in client-facing scenarios, and since clients have provided these types of tools, we are able to work on them effectively.

Experimentation has boosted conversion rates and guides faster, safer feature decisions
The best features Split offers include A/B experimentation itself, multivariant experiments, and a limit exposure feature that allows us to manipulate the traffic going through the split. We can decide to send only 10% of the traffic or 100%, depending on our limit exposure design. Additionally, we have a tracking mechanism and live trail monitoring, making these tools really good. The limit exposure feature in Split decides if the experiment is healthy or not. For example, we enroll the experiment for 5% of users and check the experiment's healthiness from that. We verify if the on variant is working properly and if the off variant is functioning well to ensure that extra users are not affected if something goes wrong. That is the main feature of limit exposure. I would say Split has impacted us a lot because we use it for gating new features while going into production, ensuring that those features are not rolled out prematurely. Overall, our organization is positive about using Split.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"The most valuable features are Java features, microservice communication, payment validation, Jenkins Sonar, management master to CloudBees, Blue Ocean, JobConfig, and support."
"CloudBees is a good and efficient tool."
"The security audit product offered by CloudBees is particularly beneficial in automating audit processes, which reduces the time developers spend on audits."
"It’s a very good tool for auditing your project pipelines as well."
"CloudBees updates its features frequently, so if we need something like SSL login, they enable it."
"CloudBees assists by automating tasks, previously done manually, in the pipeline setup."
"CloudBees operates seamlessly. Deploying to a cluster is straightforward—just one click, and the job is done."
"One recent product feature that stands out is the pipeline explorer, which is providing significant value for us right now."
"Split has increased some of our CVR; for example, in a recent pop-up model experiment, our conversion was around 15% and once we started the experiment, the on-variant won by increasing the CVR up to 35%, making it a really good tool for determining which particular feature would deliver the expected CVR."
"Split is a great way to handle the config based on checks and in a dynamic way if you want to control your software without doing any deployment."

Cons

"Sometimes, there are performance issues, however, they may be due to our organization's configuration."
"It could improve the document upload process."
"We've noticed occasional issues with folder permissions changing unexpectedly. Specifically, permissions sometimes shift from the CloudBees user to the root user. This can cause pipeline failures, as pipelines require the correct CloudBees user permissions to execute properly."
"I think a preview of the errors would be good just at the point where the error occurs."
"If you're logged in and working for about thirty minutes and then go idle for five to ten minutes, Jenkins will prompt you to re-authenticate."
"We did face some challenges, particularly with the infrastructure."
"The user interface of CloudBees is good but could be even more intuitive. Improving the user-friendliness of the interface and having simpler setup configurations would greatly benefit new users."
"To use the tool, you need to be familiar with the tool itself and with how it will be incorporated into the culture."
"The UI of split.io can be improved."
"Additionally, we tend to move towards other issues related to Split due to flickering issues, which we observed because of latency."
