Customer Service

Sentiment score
5.9
Check Point Harmony Browse's customer service is effective yet inconsistent, with mixed reviews on response time and efficiency.
Sentiment score
3.6
Google Chrome Enterprise support is generally positive, with helpfulness praised, but users desire improved accessibility and installation guidance.
The phone and email support provide efficient results with direct reachability to support engineers.
Typically, I do not need to reach out to Check Point support because the solutions work well after installation.
For technical support, I would rate it nine out of ten.
The online support often redirects us to FAQs instead of connecting to a real person.
There could be more detailed guidance on new installations like Google Authenticator, as the process is often vague and lacks fine-tuned information.
If I were to rate support for Google Chrome Enterprise from 1 to 10, with 10 being the best, I would give it nine.

Scalability Issues

Sentiment score
7.9
Check Point Harmony Browse efficiently manages large networks with seamless scalability and automated policies, praised for its cloud-based integration.
Sentiment score
6.2
Google Chrome Enterprise is highly scalable, efficient on old devices, and leads in cloud-based system adoption and management.
It is scalable as we monitor and manage endpoints and overall users across the system.
Check Point Harmony Browse is virtually infinite in terms of scalability, and I've seen install bases of up to 5,000 users.
Firefox is slightly more efficient as it uses less memory.

Stability Issues

Sentiment score
8.0
Check Point Harmony Browse is highly stable and reliable, with minor access issues not impacting its consistent performance.
Sentiment score
3.8
Google Chrome Enterprise is praised for its stability and reliability, with occasional issues possibly due to hardware constraints.
Check Point Harmony Browse is very stable with no communication or other issues encountered on my end.
Google Chrome Enterprise is stable, and I haven't faced any stability problems.

Room For Improvement

Check Point Harmony Browse needs enhancements in filtering, integration, customization, and support to improve efficiency, flexibility, and accuracy.
Google Chrome Enterprise users seek better RAM management, improved speed, AI features, pricing flexibility, and broader market availability.
The user interface can be better, and selecting the action for monitored or watch-listed IOCs can be more refined.
Another area of improvement is extension compatibility since it currently works best with Chrome and Edge, but having wider browser support for Firefox and Safari would be beneficial for mixed environments.
Integrating with Fortinet, Palo Alto, or third-party SIEM products such as Splunk would be a seamless advantage.
If we have a laptop with basic configuration, it eats up a lot of RAM and slows down the system.
This causes hesitation in installing them due to concerns about hidden costs and inadequate information.

Setup Cost

Check Point Harmony Browse offers easy setup and management, with costs varying based on project size; a 30-day trial is available.
Google Chrome Enterprise pricing is reasonable, with license costs varying and education discounts, praised for security and responsive resellers.
Smaller projects tend to be more expensive due to fewer licenses, while larger projects of 500 to 2,000 users benefit from better pricing and discounts.
It is not too high compared to what we expected, but it is not too cheap either, which is why I rate it five.
The pricing and setup are good for me because it is flexible with time saved.
It's a bit on the higher side, but we prefer to stick with it because of the security, ease of maintenance, and the company's reputation.

Valuable Features

Check Point Harmony Browse offers seamless real-time threat prevention with AI intelligence and centralized management for secure browsing experience.
Google Chrome Enterprise ensures security, seamless integration, and productivity with automatic updates, cloud operations, and extensive device synchronization.
Everything is handled directly within the browser using a lightweight extension, delivering real-time threat prevention, including protection against zero-day phishing and malicious downloads without impacting user productivity.
The isolated environment in Check Point Harmony Browse is the best feature we provide, giving a separate, isolated environment for the production applications and company applications, which is really valuable.
The real-time Threat Intelligence feature powered by Check Point's ThreatCloud is impressive because ThreatCloud integrates and correlates all malicious data from Check Point installations globally, collecting and analyzing this data with AI and machine learning to help prevent zero-day attacks effectively.
The security it offers is an advantage, which is crucial for us due to HIPAA compliance concerns.
Google Chrome Enterprise is my preferred browser over Firefox and Microsoft Edge.
I enjoy using features that are more sophisticated in terms of centralized management to maintain consistent security.

Real-time threat intelligence enhances security and user confidence
At this point, I do not have any suggestions for improvements to Check Point Harmony Browse because I haven't encountered anything that would need changing. If a solution is installed correctly, it usually won't fail. It's hard to suggest new features for Check Point Harmony Browse because it's a sub-component of a larger Harmony Endpoint Security solution, which is handled separately under specific situations, and while it has many options, it already scans and delivers files efficiently. Regarding the scanning of large files in Check Point Harmony Browse, the process typically involves sending the file to Check Point cloud for scanning and returning the clean file to the user, which is inherently complex and I do not see how it could be optimized to be faster.

Adapting to changes is smooth with flexible storage options and responsive support
I can't use Google Chrome Enterprise for my bank site because it could be the bank site issue. Something is breaking on the logging page itself, so it could be a cookies issue. As long as it is working in Edge, I am content with that. Google account storage could use some improvements. They should have a better compression mechanism or increase the free data space to the next level; at least make it 30 or 40 GB. According to the current trend, increasing the free version is better so that people can sustain for some time before making a purchase. There could be more flexible options for pricing and license for Google Chrome Enterprise. Currently, there are maybe two, three, or four options, but there should be something lesser than one TB. Customers should be able to choose extra storage according to their needs, such as 50 GB on demand, rather than predefined sizes. There aren't many complaints about the Google Admin console; maybe some improvements, especially with the parent control part. Perhaps I didn't explore that much; that could be a reason.
