Has significantly improved document-driven workflows and reduced processing time across finance and HR functions
Automation Anywhere has evolved significantly and upgraded itself to provide agentic AI and AI-based automation solutions for document automation. The product has matured considerably over time. We can create workflows that can call an API. We can include prompts in particular workflows for ChatGPT-related functions, connecting to an LLM and RAG to perform tasks. For document automation, modern features are available to train documents, ensuring high accuracy and repeatability over time. The system is very easy to use. I recently completed a course in document automation, typically designed for people involved in coding and technical aspects. Though I understand coding comprehensively, I don't do actual coding. The course was very accessible. Currently, extensive coding isn't necessary due to the hybrid model incorporating GenAI aspects, low-code, no-code capabilities, APIs, and numerous pre-built objects in Automation Anywhere. The features include GenAI-driven prompting methods and workflow creation capabilities. In these workflows, we can create decision boxes and call APIs without coding. We simply pull objects, drop them, connect them, and add minimal coding when needed. The most crucial aspect isn't coding but rather sizing the automation and fleshing out the details. Automation Co-pilot takes notes and performs automated analysis. It can extract details from videos, summarize conversations, and provide detailed information. During calls, it identifies instructions and performs tasks such as preparing reports and reconciliation. Automation Anywhere can also connect with Microsoft Co-pilot. Through Co-pilot, real-time operations can be executed, allowing direct interaction between vendors and automation through this component.

Integrates well, highly stable, and scalable
CA Asset Portfolio Management can improve the uploading of batch information. I have to upload large amounts of information and it can take a long time to finish. There are some other solutions that are better, such as Micro Focus. We have approximately 10,000 PCs that we are busy processing and we have to upload information to them but when we use this solution it is complex. When we use Micro Focus it is better.

Automated onboarding has saved hundreds of hours and now standardizes device security globally
In terms of how Ivanti Neurons for UEM can be improved, I think there's potential for automation of some repetitive tasks. The device provisioning process has already become very close to zero-touch, but the patch deployment is still scheduled and policy-driven. As a result, I believe we can reduce endpoint administration further. I also think the number of integrations and the scalability of the tool can be improved, along with customer service, as we've encountered some issues in certain countries. Regarding the needed improvements, particularly concerning integrations or customer service challenges, we have had problems with integration with some third-party tools requiring additional configuration and testing. Occasionally, we also experienced delays between systems, particularly with user group changes and device compliance updates. The accuracy and reliability of output from Ivanti's AI can be improved. We notice that the AI-driven insights are useful, but there are anomalies and some false positives. Since we are still in a validation period, I cannot provide a definitive mark, but I believe that accuracy should be enhanced, especially for more complex and environment-specific issues where human intervention is still needed.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"What really helps RPA to grow is the cognitive part of it. That's where the product is really good. Initially, it started out as RPA, but now there is a cognitive aspect to it. That's a key value to it."
"With Automation Anywhere bots, we are able to cut down the manual efforts by 80% in generating Excel and Power BI reports, extracting and uploading files to various sites, and many other web-based administrative tasks."
"By using SNMP configurations and Excel, I was able to read the mail. I used this functionality to categorize the fabric, then I used this information to correlate the value to Jira along with Excel."
"We are working with one of the bots where we send claims through WhatsApp. Any user could take a photo in WhatsApp, then send that data to the organization. Now, whenever a photo is takes, different phones have different primary resolutions, and the data being captured is not clear data. At that moment, the data is automated to a very power system which centralizes the process to one point. This is what we are using for the insurance provider. They fill out the claims form and send this information to the organization, then we use automation tools to automate the process and come to a conclusion."
"As for the stability of the product, we can use it in any use cases or to automate anything, like manufacturing or for the banking sector. We can automate all things. The stability is quite good. It is easy to use and user-friendly. You can automate whatever you do manually and day-to-day things work. We can automate repetitive tasks as well."
"The initial deployment of Automation Anywhere is user-friendly, the wizards are self-explanatory, it is a very low-code environment that allows flexibility to explore based on the project's complexity, and overall I believe Automation Anywhere is a very user-friendly tool."
"We had some business users who created their first bot four weeks back, and they were thrilled; it was very easy for them because of the drag and drag, and they understood the process very well."
"Automation Anywhere is the best among all other automation tools available in the market such as Power Automate and UiPath."
"It enables us to make better business and financial decisions."
"With the CA Asset Management tool, we have the ability to very quickly find our software compliance, so now, as an ongoing process, we know exactly where we stand with software and the opportunities that we have in our environment."
"It's easy to integrate with our system information."
"From an implementation standpoint, and what we've seen so far of what it can do, I'd say we're extremely satisfied."
"Also, the software you have, you can monitor for end of life. If you have software that is end of life, then you can have it uninstalled and buy the new software, so you can make sure that you're not running into vulnerabilities with unsupported software in your environment."
"Cost, time, and risks that relate to auditing of compliance are greatly reduced with the use of IT asset manager."
"My organization now understands what type of products they have: warranties, how long the warranties last, depreciation; we never really knew what our depreciation values were, so it was really nice to have that on hand as well, and it gives us a better view of our hardware, which is really beneficial."
"This product has added value to our organization by our increased ability to track assets, status, and lifecycle as well as being able to monitor assets when they are active."
"Ivanti Neurons for UEM has positively impacted my organization by saving time and improving efficiency."
"I like the product's Peer to Peer patching feature."
"A positive impact of using Ivanti Autonomous Endpoint Management on my organization is the ability to perform mass updates in the environment, as today we are able to update hundreds of thousands of computers at once."
"The company provides great customer service."
"Ivanti Neurons for UEM has positively impacted my organization by enabling faster patch deployment, quicker identification of non-compliant devices, and less time spent on manual endpoint administration."
"Ivanti's unified platform for IT and security operations helps streamline processes, especially because the manual intervention of having to constantly monitor, update, and maintain endpoints and applications has significantly reduced by leveraging Ivanti Neurons for UEM."
"Ivanti Patch is far better than other solutions."
"This product helps us to create a streamlined process and it is working as expected."

Cons

"We have encountered some issues in the actions like Terminal Emulator-> Send Key -> Page Down/Up not working."
"Off the top of my head, I cannot think of anything that they would need to improve on, but there are probably opportunities to explore some potential use cases where maybe there is a feature that is not yet available. We can discover and pioneer something together."
"We need a native way in Automation Anywhere's framework to tie all that information together, including AI dashboard, governance dashboards, and document automation results."
"In the next release, once the bot is triggered, the system should always recognize the active state and not prompt the user to log in again before the bot finishes all of its tasks."
"The IQ Bot is pretty immature, in regards to AI and machine learning. I would like them to add additional logic."
"When I used this tool in the bot, it did not work. I got this issue when using the document automation learning instance."
"Automation Anywhere is easy to use, even if you lack technical skills. People without deep technical expertise can easily develop scenarios."
"Automation Anywhere could benefit from a more technical focus."
"CA SAM is not a CA product. The vendor is Aspera and CA is the distributor, so support is difficult. It's more difficult to get a good response."
"Accessing from roles can be effected adversely if searches are created and incorrectly assigned to roles."
"There were a lot of things that we had to prepare for that we weren't thinking about with this installation. I think from a CA standpoint, the software was good. But us preparing for that, we had a lot more work to do."
"As I'm looking into financial reporting and audits, new features to help with this would be good."
"The UI, even though they upgraded the UI, it's still kind of dated, it's a little bit convoluted to use. It's not like something that you can sit down and automatically understand how to use it."
"It needs stronger rebooting components and the ability to develop our own software metrics."
"Very complex to setup with Human Resource, help desk, procurement, and supply chain systems."
"One additional improvement – the reporting aspect in SAM is poor; we need different reporting for different purposes – compliance reporting for executive management and the product teams."
"It was not an easy initial setup for us. It was a bit difficult and not really straightforward."
"Customer support is really poor."
"I would like to have better support for the application."
"We have had problems with integration with some third-party tools requiring additional configuration and testing."
"Ivanti Neurons for UEM could be improved by providing training on the dashboard, which could help users understand better how they can get more out of the platform."
"The biggest improvement I would like to see in Ivanti Neurons for UEM is a more intuitive interface with simpler navigation for common tasks."
"MobileIron UEM could improve the monitoring of devices."
"The ticket resolution workflow requires duplicate documentation, which does not add value and increases the time required to process tickets."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"We have seen the tangible benefits of taking monotonous work off people's plates, creating capacity, and cost reductions."
"The initial setup and licensing fees are high, and although it saves costs in the long run, reaching the break-even point can take at least six months."
"Time-wise: We have saved hundreds of thousands of hours."
"The pricing is a bit higher."
"We are a partner of Automation Anywhere and find the pricing to be reasonable."
"The solution is costly and the licensing is very confusing."
"Cost-wise, it is fine. A lot of medium businesses prefer Automation Anywhere. The development cost is also lower."
"Because it reduced the time duration of our processes, our costs went down."
Information not available
"For the one that works with SCCM, it is relatively inexpensive at $8 USD per node, yearly. The standalone product has two versions; the one that patches servers is about $45 USD annually and the version that patches workstations is about half that price at $22 USD."
"The solution is expensive compared to other products."
"The solution is affordable."
"The price of MobileIron UEM is very good."
"My impression is that MobileIron is very expensive."
"The license can get expensive if you have a lot of nodes."
"While the price is a bit high, it may be equitable with the features one gets with the product, such as that involving the interface."
