"The most valuable feature of BrowserStack is the ability to do manual testing."
"I have found that BrowserStack is stable."
"Maintenance of the solution is easy."
"It just added some flexibility. There was nothing that improved our coding standards, etc. because all of our UIs were functional before we tried it."
"The main core concept behind this product is, it takes the overhead of maintaining all of your devices or particular computers. It continuously adds the latest devices that are coming into the market."
"It is a scalable solution."
"The product's initial setup phase was not very difficult."
"Good text reading ability."
"The most valuable feature is the ability to create code from a flow chart, and then run the code through it."
"GUI testing is the strength of the tool. The tool works as expected, and the support response from eggPlant, as a company, has been quick and substantial."
"It is easy to set up."
"Its scalability is good. It is useful for desktop applications, and it also uses OCR and does image recognition."
"Everything is happening on the layout or display that is used by the user. Eggplant prompts processes, like 'click here,' or 'look for this image.' Eggplant makes it possible for QA people and BAs, working in the actual display, to check if the software is providing the right images, the right text, and the right results. They don't have to go inside the code or to the TCP/IP layer. Everything is happening at the highest level."
"We are able to now automate tests, which so far have been manual."
"The main feature of Eggplant Test is that it can do fully automated web testing and app testing."
"There is room for improvement in pricing."
"There is some stability issue in the product, making it in areas where improvements are required."
"I would like for there to be more integration with BrowserStack and other platforms."
"Connectivity can sometimes mar the testing experience."
"While I was testing I was not 100% sure a that was properly mimicking the browsers or not. We had some issues with a browser, and the reason was the browser itself does not provide any support. If the local system does not provide any support, I think this was the problem. There should be better integration with other solutions, such as JIRA."
"It is difficult to use for someone who has little to no experience."
"Sometimes BrowserStack is really slow and devices are not loading. it is really annoying and that's why we bought several newer devices because sometimes it's affecting us a lot."
"If you are inactive for 30 minutes, the solution will close."
"Its performance and stability could be better."
"Eggplant Test should emphasize on improving its offering in non-Windows environments."
"It has low productivity."
"The IDE could be even more full-featured. Because I was a developer, I was very spoiled by either Visual Studio Code or Visual Studio for shortcuts. For example, I was able to say "ctor" and hit Tab and it would create a template of a constructor for me... It would be great, when I want to create a new function, if there were shortcut commands like those that helped create all of the functions, or if there were shortcut features to do any of the complex plans."
"The solution would crash from time to time."
"I would like to see standardized actions already built into Eggplant. For example, "wait eight seconds". That way, I wouldn't need to create it as an action. Right now, I have to program that wait and describe it as an action so that everybody knows it is an action that waits eight seconds... That way, somebody who is not familiar with programming processes like "if-else", or "for", or "while", would be able, from the first moment, and without programming, to put some easy-to-use, standardized, actions in place."
"We found that we had issues regarding the VPN setup, which is one of the reasons that we did not purchase this solution."
"They need to update the Linux. I think it's kind of an outdated Java Swing application."
