"Autopilot is a great feature. Most users are looking for a zero-touch deployment."
"The features I found most valuable in Intune are its user visibility and troubleshooting options."
"This product has helped us because we can now do many tasks at once. Rather than copy one file to one device, we can do an entire group at one time."
"Depending on who's looking at the data, they need to configure that data in different ways, and the dashboards help us to do that better than what was previously available."
"The network security of BMC TrueSight Network Automation has been the best feature."
"The backup and restore configurations are really helpful for a number of network devices, as you can automate them, then know what changes have been done, who made the changes, etc. So, it's quite helpful in the network management area."
"It has the best automation features."
"We use it to back up configurations so the configuration management is valuable for us."
"It is helpful if you schedule daily or weekly archiving for your config groups. Then, you can go by what are in those configuration groups, before and after, if you make changes. So, configuration management is really helpful in network management."
"The compliance management, patching, and OS upgrades are useful features."
"This is the best solution for management for the server administrator. VMware has been on the market for many years, so they have a lot of solutions. For on-premises, VMware is the best available solution."
"Beneficial patch management and template features."
"There are a lot of useful features, such as DRS, ease of use, and many configuration options."
"vCenter has some good user experience, and the initial setup is straightforward."
"I would rate the scalability quite good. You can extend your environment effectively with appropriate investment."
"The most valuable features of this solution are the ability to manage all of our environments allowing us to have better functionality and high availability."
"We can scale the solution as needed."
"The tool's scalability is good and easy, especially when compared to Microsoft Hyper-V."
"There is improvement needed in integrating with the installed Office solutions versions, such as Office 2019. The Office 365 integrates without a problem."
"It just doesn't handle software updates well at all by itself. You need to be a scripting wizard to make those happen properly, or you use third-party tools. The Windows feature updates are very difficult to implement. I would like to see a proprietary built-in remote control tool. I know that they have Team Viewer integrated, but it is not seamless. It would be nice if they had a seamless remote desktop capability directly from the Intune console."
"Microsoft needs to enhance device-level security, as sometimes when using Microsoft Intune, the device's operating system becomes stuck and requires a full uninstall to remove the Intune bug."
"We only have major classifications for iOS and Android, but there are different brands that have different cycles of updates. If they can fine-tune it to make it more brand-specific, that would be even better."
"Intune should be much more granular in terms of supporting more Android cellular devices."
"China blocks Google and Google Play Store, which makes installation challenging. Microsoft Intune is a company software, which has to be installed to the app portal or Microsoft Software Center."
"We would like to see support for Chrome and/or devices for Chromebooks."
"There are some issues using the solution with macOS and iOS, and it offers limited granular control with them. Intune works better on Windows and Android."
"For customized compliance, it takes some effort to implement things. If the device configuration is quite complex, then you have to do quite number of customizations in the DNA tool for out-of-the-box compliance. These regular expressions have to be modified based on the requirements of the compliance."
"They need to have a single sign-on."
"BMC TrueSight Network Automation can improve by having a better UI. The overall quality of the UI could be better."
"There could be automated processes to retrieve the CVS and create a compliance tool."
"I'd like to be able to get more devices into compliance with standards, but that means running additional rule sets and that takes time."
"I believe there could be new features in terms of the latest technology."
"It is tedious to scale the solution."
"We've been working with BMC support in various ways such as to allow for the high-availability components to the TSIMs to work together. There have been issues there. We've seen randomness in how other pieces of the software work. Integration with the Presentation Server and the TSIMs has been a challenge. The ports that are required for HA to be utilized were not clearly documented anywhere. In fact, they still aren't documented online anywhere, even though we managed to pull it out of some of their support people."
"The technical support could be faster."
"The snapshot functionality on the solution needs improvement. After renewing the snapshot, all of the production was stuck. Right now, its functionality is one of our main concerns."
"There are a lot of steps to do the configuration. We have to do it step by step and it is time-consuming. If it was easier it could be done quicker. There should be a preloaded configuration."
"It lacks the capability to manage the other systems."
"The solution should allow for more customization."
"The solution could provide even more capacity."
"It is not so user-friendly that you can just start the host and everything works."
"The solution could be more integrated with the Microsoft environment."
