Has helped me create clean and structured process maps with a simple setup experience
I have not explored ways Bizagi can be improved beyond creating maps. If I explore automation and integration with other processes, then I may be able to identify potential areas for improvement. I would appreciate additional features for the free version. Currently, the elements in a process map are limited to activities, decisions, flows, and start/end points. The decision map could be improved to allow more than three options at a decision point.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"The solution is very stable; we haven't found any bugs or glitches and it doesn't crash, making it quite reliable."
"The main feature of Bizagi is the speed to which we can automate processes and how we can modify them without a strong impact on the end users."
"I would recommend this solution because it's easy to use and very quick to install."
"Process management is easy with Bizagi; validating processes and assigning resources is straightforward."
"Bizagi is very simple and easy to use, which I find most valuable, as it allows users to create clean and neat process maps."
"Rapid development and overall functionalities are decent."
"BPMN 2.0 compliance, while you model the processes, the system can detect your notation errors, plus it is free."
"It is open source."
"The stability of the product is very good."
"I like that all the features come as part of a standard license and that one license covers everything."
"OpenText ProVision's best feature is the capability to attach a variety of attributes and extract and analyze that information."

Cons

"Their multi-production is a little complicated, despite the fact that they now have Microdeployment."
"The data in Excel that comes out after running the simulation is a bit complicated sometimes to interpret."
"It's very difficult to contact support unless you pay for it."
"I'm not really satisfied with the reporting aspect. It's not really nice."
"However, if you are looking at building an application where 100 developers are working in parallel, you will have issues."
"I would appreciate additional features for the free version. Currently, the elements in a process map are limited to activities, decisions, flows, and start/end points."
"I think if they could go back to the modeling option or the simulation, that would be good. They also used to have a publish option but they closed that and it's now only available with the pay option."
"Cloud support for their process mapping tool could be better."
"Lacks the ability to have your own in-house developments."
"My main complaint is that the solution is not open source in the sense that you can't have your own in-house developments."
"There are a number of drawbacks. Mainly, the collaboration is lacking to some extent - at least when it comes to how we are using it."
"OpenText ProVision's collaboration management is quite complicated and difficult to use."
"Integrating with or interfacing with other tools like data management tools would be very helpful."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"It has a very high price. Many clients complain about the price for maintaining the application on Bizagi."
"It is not expensive."
"This is a free solution."
"The pricing model is good; I believe it's free for up to 20 users, and then they start charging. I hear the solution can get quite expensive, however."
"The paid version costs us about $20,000 for 100 users annually."
"I think that its price is reasonable."
"It is on par with other BPM tools, but not as expensive as Pega nor Appian."
"Bizagi is totally free for modeling."
