Network security has improved and unified connectivity now supports faster global expansion
The features of Alkira Cloud Services Exchange (CSX) that stand out to me include the Design Canvas, which helps us visualize the interface and turn complex network tasks into a drag-and-drop exercise, improving timelines and entirely removing the need to write code, subsequently reducing costs, manual labor, risks, and work. I also value the micro-segmentation ability, which allows us to easily isolate traffic, ensuring that third-party contractor networks can only access specific testing servers and nothing else. Real-time monitoring is another favorite of mine, as it helps us troubleshoot with a dashboard that shows exactly where network bottlenecks or security threats are occurring globally. Lastly, the automated disaster recovery feature helps us achieve built-in enterprise resiliency by automating traffic rerouting when a specific cloud region goes offline, which aids users from specific regions as load balancers perform the rerouting. Alkira Cloud Services Exchange (CSX) has positively impacted my organization with significant returns on investment driven by a massive reduction in provisioning time, hardware enumeration, and labor optimization. The accelerated time to market has increased our ability to launch new products or integrate acquisitions by 80%, and provisioning speed has improved by 96%, reducing the traditional month-long planning and routing down to less than a day. The time staff physically spent configuring new cloud networks has decreased by 85%. We have seen project scale increase by 300% without delays, and by moving to a centralized cloud-native routing and security fabric, we eliminated the redundant physical and virtual hardware across different cloud providers, decreasing the total number of network devices by 44% and achieving a 73% reduction in firewalls.

Centralized console has streamlined multi‑cloud management and supports automated operations
Apart from the centralized management console, Aviatrix gives the additional advantage or simplifies the way we manage the cloud environments. When it comes to troubleshooting or more networking-related issues, the native cloud solution has limited options available within the cloud environment. Aviatrix provides those additional benefits to manage effectively when managing troubleshooting or issues. Aviatrix is making our day-to-day job easier and also saving a lot of time because it gives options for cloud-to-cloud peering, as well as a transit hub and spoke architecture. It simplifies how we manage the multi-cloud environment through the single console, and the connectivity options become very easier. Aviatrix supports the automation platform. It supports Infrastructure as Code (IAC), which makes deployment faster with automation. This reduces operational overhead. Aviatrix has positively impacted my organization by making management and administration easier, allowing us to manage all the cloud infrastructure from a single console. There is less overhead on operations due to automation support, and cloud network segmentation has become more advanced.

Pros

"Alkira Cloud Services Exchange (CSX) has positively impacted my organization with significant returns on investment driven by a massive reduction in provisioning time, hardware enumeration, and labor optimization."
"Aviatrix has actually impacted my organization significantly; it is actually pretty important to use Aviatrix daily."
"This tool resolves the overlapping of CIDR’s IP addresses in a multi-cloud environment, which is its best feature. The product also gives packet-level details on the data that has been put from one cloud to another. Currently, no other solution in the market can give this kind of detail. There is also the high VPN connectivity which gives high throughput. Internet service providers have a limitation on large migrations like 10 Gigabytes or 2 to 2.3 GBPS. However, this tool gives you a functionality where you can bundle multiple tunnels into one tunnel. Thereafter, you can transfer the data from one environment to another or from on-prem to the cloud."
"Aviatrix is a good platform with multi-networking capabilities that can support everything, and it looks good overall."
"The connections are seamless, and we can access the static clouds on the platform itself. We are also able to trace the issues. The most valuable features of the solution are security, user interface, and performance."
"The product has greatly improved our organization by saving costs for multiple direct connections and simpler cloud configurations."
"The most valuable feature of Aviatrix is that it saves us a lot of time."
"Aviatrix has positively impacted my organization by making management and administration easier, allowing us to manage all the cloud infrastructure from a single console."
"Using Aviatrix, we saw a clear ROI through approximately a 30 to 40% reduction in network management effort, which meant fewer resources were needed for operations, along with faster deployments of around 50% improvement, and reduced downtime, translating into cost savings and better productivity."

"A suggestion I would make for Aviatrix is to maybe make the terminal more user-friendly."
"The setup cost is a little bit expensive."
"Aviatrix should include more integrated security features like intrusion detection and lateral movement detection."
