Easy to set up with good functionality and adaptability.
I'm not sure how it could be better. It has everything I need for my work. It would be ideal if there was more research on the product available. We'd like it to have solutions within the product that can help us complete tasks a bit faster. It would be nice if the solution had some sort of bot or assistant within the solution to help us with work within the product. If we could deploy queries and get an answer faster, within 30 minutes, instead of within a day or two.

Long-term use has streamlined automation and cloud deployment for organizational workflows
Microsoft Visual Studio has done enough from my perspective. I am not a core developer, so I just use the basic tools that I need for basic things. A core developer would easily see additional things that could be done. I am satisfied with what is currently available. I am using the community version of Microsoft Visual Studio, so I would not be in the right position to tell whether it is very expensive. However, I feel the pricing can be lower for small to medium enterprises to afford it. Many smaller organizations still leverage the community version. The cost can be made more affordable for these businesses.

"With the alliance with Microsoft, the product is perfectly integrated."
"Without Adobe Flash player, I wouldn't be able to do my day-to-day functions."
"Microsoft Visual Studio is stable and the performance was good. However, if you do not have decent hardware you will not have the same experience."
"One of the most valuable features is its support. It's easy for me to get support even though I never use it. If there's a bug or a performance issue, Microsoft also provides quick updates, and this is another valuable feature of the program."
"If you want to use .NET or C#, then Visual Studio is the best solution."
"It's a great product and it's very easy to understand and develop the application."
"If you are looking for a very complete IDE for developers that can support their job with a lot of functionalities and plugins, choose Microsoft Visual Studio."
"I like the product's connection with Azure analytics services and the ability to build the model on the cloud."
"Microsoft Visual Studio is a very robust application where I can debug quickly and resolve issues efficiently with specific solutions designed for strong debugging."
"We have no issues with scaling."

Cons

"It would be nice to see Adobe Flash as a separate application instead of embedding it with other apps. I want the product to be a simple app. The product’s scalability is also one of its weak points."
"It would be ideal if there was more research on the product available."
"It would be nice to have more integration and faster integration."
"At times it can be slow, but other than that it is a great and helpful product."
"Adobe can focus on the gaming side mode."
"The migration could improve in Microsoft Visual Studio. When I upgraded from 2017 and up to 2022 it was not smooth. There was a lot of manual hand-picking. Microsoft should put a higher budget for the database developers' section in Visual Studio."
"For small to medium-sized organizations, the licensing for Visual Studio may be too expensive."
"The interface could be more user friendly."
"I am facing some problems with technical support."
"Every time it updates, there are issues. It alerts to an exception and then quits."

"A kind of tutorial page should be embedded in the software to enable first-time users learn more without the help of an expert."
"Microsoft Visual Studio could improve by being compatible with more operating systems. However, we understand the solution is proprietary to Microsoft."
