"For local backups, it has options to back up almost any storage. The back can be either a shared folder or anything you want, it's pretty flexible."
"The best thing about it is that we can back up pretty much everything we want to. We don't have to have multiple solutions. It can back up any physical or virtual server, including servers in Azure. It can back up SharePoint, OneDrive, and G Suite. Everything we need to back up can be backed up, and that's why we like it."
"For my first experience, it is the best software for backups, especially for a five-system backup."
"The most valuable features of Acronis Backup are instant restore, antivirus, and ransomware protection. Additionally, the documentation is good."
"The most valuable feature is the fact that you can archive backups quite easily and minimize the amount of space you're using."

"I am comfortable with using this product."
"We believe that everything Veritas NetBackup offers, including backups, snapshots, deduplication, and replication, is valuable."
"The solution could be better if some of the features were more in-depth."
"Because Acronis Backup is an on-premises solution, there is extra overhead. It's harder to manage, and there's no real remote access. You have to physically log in to the machine to manage it. The reporting feature works fine, and you will be able to send out reports. However, that is where it stops. The deployment could be improved and could be through a network chain. If we need to deploy two machines that are not connected to the internet but connected to two different networks, it would be great to have a machine with dual mix that has access to the backup server and to those machines. It would be like a relay that you can install on the machine with a two-mix, and that machine can then connect to your backup server and to the other machines. You should be able to see the other machines on that network and be able to deploy to it and push jobs to it."
"Acronis has some limitations on the cloud side."
"Their support process can be quite lengthy...This is an area that needs improvement."
"On the cloud side, security could always be better."
"The product would be better if they offered more integration capabilities."
"We have issues with the SQL databases which are a little shaky."
"There are a lot of products out there that are a little bit stronger than Acronis where AV is concerned."
"The implementation process could be simplified to make it quicker."
"The pricing could be improved, and the interface could be more intuitive."
"Technical support only gets back to us the following morning."
"Veritas NetBackup has some limitations and it would be a benefit if we had better documentation."
"Maybe they could add more cloud solutions."
"The pricing is a bit of a concern. If could be lower."
"The restoration method and the compression ratio need improvement."
"We would like the Java console to be updated."

Hi Shashi,
NetBackup is an enterprise tool and Acronis is for private/small companies (in my opinion).
If you have a plan for ~150 servers then Acronis is a NO WAY for you (only if you have the time to prepare snapshots for each individual system one by one).
KR,
Jago
Technically NetBackup is a more reliable and comprehensive product as compare to Acronis.
NetBackup has integration with all major business products like MS SQL Server, MS Exchange Server, IBM, SAP, HANNA, Share point and Active Directory.
You can backup and restore full VM in NetBackup as well as BMR too for P2V.
Acronis has limited features in comparison with Netbackup.
Netbackup is a vast product. If you need any assistance you may drop a few lines and I will help you out.
What types of data sets will you be backing up? Also how much data total are we talking about? Will you be backing up traditional (full/Incremental)?
Joe
Ok, I'm seeing that no one knows/mentioned what Acronis Cyber Protect is.
Acronis is not an image tool anymore but it's a complete data security product. It has anti-malware, ransomware protection, immutable storage option, cross hypervisor backup and disaster function, P2V, V2P V2V Universal restore capabilities and very good coverage of enterprise application support.
If you need help feel free to DM me.
Both are good backup tools.
I have a one-to-one comparison. But, if you want to use BMR I suggest you go with Acronis cyber Backup because Acronis is the best solution provider for image backup and recovery for different kinds of environments.
Acronis has good support for different kinds of storage and inline data deduplication. Built-in network management for lower bandwidth from clients to the server. Support any-to-any migration and a user-friendly web console.
Always talk to your solution provider about fulfilling your all requirements. Possibly, conduct PoC before your purchase, check partner support services and the roadmap of the product.
Always choose the solution which will serve your requirements for the next 5 years (or more) as per your hardware lifecycle.
if you need any help on a solution please DM me.
