Provides good stability and a valuable object identification feature
We evaluated data testing for millions of records. As per architecture, it can efficiently run a few thousands of records. However, we couldn't implement it for millions of records. Thus, it works well for a small amount of data. We have 30 users for it in our organization and use it daily. I rate the scalability a ten out of ten.

Automation has delivered strong ROI with AI-driven test prioritization and parallel reporting
The best feature of Worksoft Certify is the automatic report generation. Unlike traditional tools like Selenium or Java-based frameworks where reporting often requires custom coding, Certify handles this natively. We are currently utilizing the 14.5 version, which has modernized these capabilities, though we frequently manage backward compatibility for clients still running on the 12.x version series.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"The platform contributes to faster test release cycles."
"We were able to increase the percentage of automation from between 40% and 50% to 80% within a year."
"We love the Capture 2.0 feature. It seems to work very well."
"On our last big SAP implementation project, we inserted an automation resource into the beginning of the project and, between automating regression processes, data staging, and using our automation to help repair cutover and conversion issues, we saved the project about $1,700,000."
"The best features Worksoft Certify offers are its codeless nature, the absence of an object repository management requirement, and tools such as SAP Learn and Web Learn that are particularly useful for beginners, alongside the ability to generate various reports based on client requirements."
"One big advantage of Worksoft Certify is its integration with SAP Solution Manager..."
"It's very different versus other tools in the past, which were not very modern. It easy for people to automate."
"For my processes, Worksoft makes them faster when creating scripts."
"If you are looking for an easy to implement scalable solution, Worksoft Certify is recommended if it works within your budget."

Cons

"The platform's reporting aspects can be broader and include more granular details."
"From the features perspective, I find that there are functionalities missing in Worksoft Certify at the moment that I would like to see included in the future."
"When you reach out for support, it takes time for them to research it and get back to us."
"Testing of web based applications can be really cumbersome at times."
"They need to keep working on the mobile interface, the API part, and they need to improve more on web applications."
"Based on my colleagues' feedback, there are still some minor issues concerning continuous testing, particularly related to the timeout feature."
"I would like to see the impact analysis integrated with the performance testing tool. We have multiple tools doing multiple items. I would like to have one common tool."
"The technical support has been good, but sometimes there are little delays. A lot of times when we need support, it's an emergency situation."
"The technical support of the product is an area of concern where certain improvements are required."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"I rate the product's pricing an eight out of ten. It can be optimized."
"Worksoft Certify is priced higher than most tools."
"There is a cost involved to doing it, but once you get over the initial cost, then you'll start reaping the benefits and seeing that testing is getting done more quickly and efficiently. We are still early on with it, but the expectation and what we're seeing is that we will start seeing some savings coming out on the back-end once we have this done."
"The typical range that we see is between 50 to 90 percent improvement in speed capabilities. Another aspect comes with the depth that they're able to test. It increases their capabilities overall to test at a broader level."
"It saves us time: approximately 50 percent."
"We save probably 50 percent of our time. The tool does what it's supposed to do, and we are able to actually work."
"The tool is not really good at all because you need to purchase some additional tools."
"We no longer need ten people sitting and manually testing something. We can just have one person running the entire regression automation testing suite, and this has saved us dollars."
"Our ROI is primarily a reduction in testing time. The testing, when we were doing it manually, was 30 to 40 percent of the project's cost."
