Focuses on practical skills for cloud and DevOps learners
A few improvements I can think of for A Cloud Guru would involve moving beyond the traditional installation approach to a hands-on experience within terminals. Furthermore, I believe the technology space is shifting towards AI chatbots, so incorporating training on effectively using chatbots for information retrieval would be beneficial. Instead of just providing a help note, offering prompts that assist in learning and solving coding exercises could greatly improve the learning process, as many of us now use chatbots to obtain detailed answers to advance our development. Regarding pricing, I suggest A Cloud Guru could be more competitive. I compare it with other educational platforms, some of which offer corporate discounts, and I notice that many companies opt for those, while the organizations I have worked for have not utilized an A Cloud Guru corporate account, which presents a challenge. I am unsure about the marketing aspects, but other platforms I see have corporate versions, and I can create an account, which I have not seen as an option here. Given that these courses are very specific and tailored to cloud, I assume the pricing might be somewhat higher, which could make it challenging for every company to invest in them.

Hands-on labs have transformed my theoretical studies and now support real business projects
While the platform is excellent overall, I think the main area for improvement would be adding even more practical resources and hands-on labs. The current guided labs are fantastic for learning initial concepts, but it would be incredibly useful to have more unguided, real-world troubleshooting scenarios or projects. This would allow learners to bridge the gap between following a step-by-step tutorial and facing a complex, unstructured problem, making the learning experience even better. More of these challenging practical resources would further prepare learners for not just exams but for the unpredictable nature of real-world production environments. Regarding course updates, one thing I would improve is having clearer transition guides between course versions. While navigating the catalog, I have noticed some courses have multiple active iterations, such as the Enterprise Linux Automation with Ansible course for both 8.4 and 9.0. It would be incredibly helpful if the platform highlighted the specific differences or updates introduced in the new release, making it more accessible.
