What is our primary use case?
The major use case for Adaptive Data Security Platform is financial institutions, the medical sector, and people who work in manufacturing who have their own recipes. With those kinds of industries, it is a great tool because now everybody is trying to use AI to research or trim down the summary versions to it, making it a great tool to handle the intellectual properties of any company. With that, your recipes or your main products which you do not want to go anywhere else remain in your own company. Another good part is that because these AIs have already evolved to such a point, you can run it on your own server with, let's say, 64 gigs or 128 gigs of RAM and a good processor, allowing your entire company to use AI which will be running on a single server inside the company itself. With Adaptive Data Security Platform's help, a company can literally have their security in a great way. Your own things can remain inside the company without even preventing the people from using AI for their work.
What is most valuable?
I have two months of experience with Adaptive Data Security Platform now, and it is working so smoothly that if you have marking on the document or any intellectual property, whether it is a PDF, whether it is a PPT, whether it is a document, any form of document, Excel or anything, if you want to put it towards these AI, even copy-paste also works in the exact same manner. When you copy it from the locked version, it will not let you proceed and it will show a pop up. Adaptive Data Security Platform is a great tool to let the user use an in-house developed AI which runs on their own servers rather than cloud servers. With that, there is a huge benefit of not letting your own work be distributed over onto the internet for reading it through multiple different places or multiple different users throughout the world.
The machine learning part of Adaptive Data Security Platform is effective in adapting to new data because every single day when your company is generating more data, it is learning from that. It is integrated with your own AI system, whatever the company puts in. You can make it connected to it as well. Adaptive Data Security Platform also learns from that AI by all the persons who are using that agent or who are using the in-house AI. It learns from that as well regarding what kind of queries people are putting. Then it learns from it and makes the other person stop putting those kinds of questions to public AI platforms.
From my ten years of experience, Unified Management Console is way too important for monitoring data security because of how the world is changing and how security is evolving. It is not just about enterprise level now. It is even on the personal level. When you go ahead and put your image onto the cloud, it runs it and gives you a 1980s style of image. However, people are forgetting one thing: you are training an AI with your facial images and images have metadata that show where you are living, where you were actually clicking that particular photo, which particular handset it was being clicked on, and what was the resolution. That metadata is also learning content. When you feed this information to the AI, and once you have fed it, you cannot take it back. It does not matter how many rules you go ahead and create. It is a learnable machine. It is a machine learning thing. If you go ahead onto the AI and say, 'I just want to have an entire image of let's say a German blue card or a German green card or a US SSN card as well or anything,' it will generate the card with an exact appearance to the one that is there. It is great important to have security over that.
What needs improvement?
As I stated earlier, there are negative sides of the product because it literally made my job a little bit harder or a little bit longer because then I cannot use the AI which is already learned from ten thousand or ten million people throughout the globe to give me that understanding and better things. From my own background, if I put that, 'Okay, I am in this particular place, what I can do to resolve it,' I cannot do that because it is not letting me do that. So I am bound to one of the in-house developed and trained AIs.
The machine learning aspect of Adaptive Data Security Platform has the potential to be better, and it is doing a little bit more in those areas already because if there is an AI which has already been there in the company, it goes ahead and understands from that part itself. It also goes ahead and understands certain number of other aspects from the people who are already using the AI on towards the public AI as well because it goes ahead and checks that this is something which is the context and it is going ahead and stopping the people or making them understand that whatever they are doing is not correct or something along those lines. Adaptive Data Security Platform is already having the potential of learning while being in use.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have two months of experience with Adaptive Data Security Platform now.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
I did not see any kind of latency on Adaptive Data Security Platform. It was pretty much stable for the use case that I had at work.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
I was not able to do much regarding scaling the tool, but I know that Adaptive Data Security Platform can be scaled pretty much easily. The particular company was putting this only on their financial part of the systems, not the entire organization. Then they were trying to push it towards research and other departments as well. Adaptive Data Security Platform has the potential to scale up and scale down according to its utilization.
How are customer service and support?
I do not think they had anything regarding customer support from the vendor because as I stated, I was a user, not a configurator or anything like that. I used it. I never went ahead and developed or configured it.
What was our ROI?
From my experience, there is a return on investment from Adaptive Data Security Platform in a way where our intellectual property is being sustained. In that way, it is a return on money because then we are able to secure our own assets, and you have that kind of a place where you know these are the places where we need to train the people to understand more about what intellectual property is, how they can go ahead and utilize it, and how we can protect it. Adaptive Data Security Platform is already saving you money in those areas because then your competitors do not know or if your financial reports are not being there over onto the cloud itself to the people who can just easily see it. In that way, it is already doing it.
Which other solutions did I evaluate?
I have not come across multiple different tools regarding how Adaptive Data Security Platform compares with similar products on the market. I cannot be very sure of it, but Adaptive Data Security Platform is already giving me a good kind of updates that whatever I am doing, it is going ahead and making sure that none of the things are being processed outside. It is keeping my things whatever they may be. For me, it is a good product.
What other advice do I have?
I was a user of Adaptive Data Security Platform. I was a customer for that kind of thing. The place where I was actually being a consultant to that particular company, they were having that already installed, so I could use it and I could understand that these are the things which are there already. With that, I went ahead and searched it a little bit more regarding what it does. I am summing up with everything, including what I read and what I felt about the product when I was using it. It is all about that.
I have no insights on the licensing or pricing of the product because it was something that I was using and not something that would be directly accessible to me.
I have no idea about the installation process of Adaptive Data Security Platform. Whatever I have read about it is that it is not too many lines of codes or anything. It is pretty much simple how it performs.
I have no idea about the environment it was deployed in because I was actually a customer. I was not inside how it was being created or how it was being developed already. That is something which I have less idea about.
I have not purchased anything from Adaptive Data Security Platform or any other products from AWS Marketplace because I am mostly a customer or a user. I have utilized a few other things which were Claude AI using a subscription and developer subscription, but when it comes to buying the entire product like this, I have not.
