What is our primary use case?
I used SEON Fraud Prevention for fraud prevention and detection. I did not use SEON's Real-time Risk Analysis extensively. When considering real-time risk analysis, I interpreted this to mean using it on a daily basis as a routine. SEON Fraud Prevention has a feature that provides real-time insights. I did not use the real-time aspect that much because we had our own tool for viewing real-time customers. However, with SEON Fraud Prevention at the same time, I could take an account, input it into SEON Fraud Prevention, check whatever I wanted, and then go back and do the actions I needed. SEON Fraud Prevention was not the only tool we were working with; it was a helpful addition to our workflow.
What is most valuable?
I am not certain if there is something specific about the machine learning algorithm in SEON Fraud Prevention, but if you mean machine learning in general, it was definitely valuable.
The machine learning algorithm in SEON Fraud Prevention was 100% useful, particularly when creating rules in SEON Fraud Prevention. I learned a great deal from it.
Regarding the reporting aspect, I used the advanced reporting tools in SEON Fraud Prevention and found them satisfactory. I could export everything and make reports on my own, which was very helpful. The only issue I encountered was when attempting to copy a specific account. If I did not make certain moves with my mouse and tried to copy everything and paste it elsewhere, it would place me inside the account instead, and I could not make the copy that I wanted. However, that was very minor and did not disrupt my work.
The exporting and reporting functionality in SEON Fraud Prevention was entirely satisfactory.
Regarding SEON Fraud Prevention's Multi-Factor Authentication, in every organization when logging into a tool, it asks for a professional email, provides a password, remembers it, and requires a different code each time. This is standard and nothing different from typical authentication methods.
Concerning SEON Fraud Prevention's user interface, I cannot recall anything specific to criticize. SEON Fraud Prevention is excellent because for fraud analysis and risk analysis, it has everything in one place and is extremely useful for daily work. With one quick glance, I have everything I need for multiple accounts, patterns, and more. I would not change anything about it. SEON Fraud Prevention is one of the platforms I have worked with that has everything in one place, and for fraud analysis work, this is everything.
What needs improvement?
I recall that SEON Fraud Prevention did not allow viewing transactions, and I was aware they were going to improve this feature because I read it on the platform that they were going to add transaction analysis. On the platform, I could only see accounts and several other things with Digital Fingerprint, but I could not see the transactions themselves. Adding transaction analysis could be a huge improvement. I believe they may have already added this feature, but I have not worked with it because I changed my job.
From a features perspective, apart from transaction analysis, there could be improvements in device identification. For example, SEON Fraud Prevention shows that a customer's device is an iPhone, but which iPhone model? With Samsung, for instance, it shows Samsung A56 for one customer and Samsung A57 for another, but it does not do this as effectively with iPhone devices. Perhaps this is not SEON Fraud Prevention's problem because iPhone devices have closed networks and cannot be easily identified. However, there may be a way to work around this, though I am uncertain if one exists.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have been using SEON Fraud Prevention for exactly one year. At my current job, I am not working with SEON Fraud Prevention because we do not use it, unfortunately. My experience with SEON Fraud Prevention is recent; I changed jobs in June, so I used SEON Fraud Prevention until June, exactly for one year, because I was working in an iGaming company. Now I am not working in an iGaming company. As far as I know, most iGaming companies are using SEON Fraud Prevention. I believe SEON Fraud Prevention is going very well overall. My experience with SEON Fraud Prevention was very positive. I found the experience engaging, and what I loved about SEON Fraud Prevention is that it had everything in one place.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
Regarding stability with SEON Fraud Prevention, as far as I remember, there is nothing too serious. There may have been maintenance for an hour or so, which is usual for every tool, so it is nothing too serious. There may have been some disconnects from time to time, but this happens everywhere.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
Regarding the scalability aspect in SEON Fraud Prevention, there are some limitations. One limitation was that I could not see the transactions, so if considering this aspect, there are limitations in that regard. If discussing growing with SEON Fraud Prevention and needing to understand certain information, there were many unfamiliar terms, and I needed to search for them to understand what they mean and compare them together. Not everyone knows what a Digital Fingerprint tool is or understands all the metadata information it provides. Without reading about these concepts, one cannot know them.
How are customer service and support?
Regarding technical support for SEON Fraud Prevention, I have not escalated any questions directly. I remember my senior team members did escalate questions, and SEON Fraud Prevention responded in a good and timely manner.
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
I have experience working with other fraud prevention systems apart from SEON Fraud Prevention, but nothing as well-known; most of them are internal tools from each company.
How was the initial setup?
When it comes to the initial setup process for SEON Fraud Prevention, it took me one week to get used to it. This depends on each person and individual; for me, it was acceptable. It took one week working on SEON Fraud Prevention to learn everything, and after that, I understood it. The setup is almost straightforward.
What about the implementation team?
Regarding the setup of SEON Fraud Prevention, a senior team member showed me the tool, of course. After that, someone needs to show you the first steps you need to take in any tool. After that, you need to explore it by yourself as well; this is common across all platforms, not only SEON Fraud Prevention.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
Regarding the pricing of SEON Fraud Prevention, I do not know about the pricing, setup cost, or licensing details. I have not worked with any other Digital Fingerprint tools, and SEON Fraud Prevention is definitely worth it.
What other advice do I have?
I have no knowledge about the procurement aspect; I do not know if we purchased directly through SEON Fraud Prevention or through local channels.
My recommendation to others reading reviews on PeerSpot is to go ahead with SEON Fraud Prevention; it is very good and trustworthy. I would rate it at 90% or higher. I could find what I was looking for, specifically the fraudsters I was investigating, so I would recommend trying it. I would rate SEON Fraud Prevention a 9 out of 10.
