We use Rise for creating e-learnings and micro-learnings. The solution is used to create large-scale courses with many knowledge checks and evaluations and also small-scale courses for specific soft skills or methodology or process training.
What is our primary use case?
How has it helped my organization?
Rise has improved our organization's productivity. The turnaround was very quick in every place I've ever used Rise. It's very easy to use, and you don't have to be an experienced designer to start working with Rise. It's very plug-and-play and accessible. It's also very responsive, and you don't have to jump through many hoops to create a course that works well on a mobile platform.
What is most valuable?
The ease of layout is the most valuable feature of Rise. Using the different blocks and arranging them seems very easy. You don't have to break down and rebuild something if you want to make a layout change. You can just easily move from one to another.
What needs improvement?
Rise should offer more interactive features because they are limited. Articulate is trying to keep the solution as responsive as possible. If I want any advanced interactivity, I have to create something within Rise's sister product, Storyline, and then import it into Rise, which can be difficult at times.
The solution should include more variety in the integration of the elements such as text and video and text and image. The solution should include more options for creating tables, charts, and graphs. The solution should include more variety in the integration of the elements such as text and video and text and image. We have seen a return on investment with Rise.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
For an enterprise looking for a very quick and durable learning solution for their company, the solution's price is very, very reasonable.
What other advice do I have?
I am using the latest version of Rise. The solution is deployed on-cloud in our organization.
I would ask users to take the solution for a trial, see what they can make, and look at all the possibilities because anyone can use it.
Overall, I rate Rise a nine out of ten.
