My main use case for Adobe Illustrator is preparing vector designs. For example, I designed a poster for our latest party using Adobe Illustrator, mainly I'm preparing vector illustrations for large print format. I have nothing else to add about my main use case or how I use Adobe Illustrator.

The best features Adobe Illustrator offers are that the nodes are much easier to use and they are more intuitive than they are within CorelDRAW. Adobe Illustrator's nodes and intuitiveness make my workflow smoother. When I am using Adobe Illustrator, everything is working, and when I need to switch to CorelDRAW, it is not as smooth as Adobe Illustrator.

Adobe Illustrator has helped with efficiency, quality, and collaboration. I have noticed all of the above.

I have no idea what could be improved within Adobe Illustrator because it is just working, and it would be nice if it still remains the same pleasant way of creating illustrations. I do not want to add more about the needed improvements and have no specific wishes for future updates.

I have been using Adobe Illustrator for about 10 years.

I evaluated CorelDRAW before choosing Adobe Illustrator.

Learning and training new team members on Adobe Illustrator is quite easy.

My main use case for Adobe Illustrator includes designing logos and tasks that require design work. Adobe Illustrator is a go-to software for us.

A recent project where I used Adobe Illustrator is a full end-to-end branding for a celebrity-backed restaurant located in Mumbai, India. We launched it, and it went viral. For the same restaurant, the entire design system, the logo, all the printables, and every single thing that required designs, including wallpapers, wall murals, social media designs, and everything else was designed on Adobe Illustrator, including a couple of design elements on the website as well.

For projects such as these, we do sketches first as stencils on notebooks and papers, and then we later get those onto Adobe Illustrator to convert our vision into digital designs.

In my opinion, there are innumerable features that Adobe Illustrator offers. For me, the most valuable features in Adobe Illustrator are the Pen tool, Shape Builder, and overall vector precision. The Pen tool gives us complete control when creating custom shapes, logos, and paths. The Shape Builder makes it easier to combine or refine elements quickly. I also rely a lot on artboards and alignment tools, as they make handling multiple layouts and maintaining consistency much easier for the social media posts that I need to make.

Vector precision and alignment tools play a significant role in my workflow. Vector precision in Adobe Illustrator is a big part of my workflow and is critical when creating logos or detailed graphics. I can fine-tune anchor points, curves, and paths exactly how I want. The alignment tools also save a lot of time and help maintain consistency across elements, whether it is spacing, proportions, or positioning across multiple artboards.

Adobe Illustrator has always been part of our organization, and everyone has been using it for quite some time. The change is noticeable mainly if you switch from another software to Adobe Illustrator, but that was never the case for us. We have used Adobe Illustrator from the start. The workflow changes allow us to be more hands-on with the software for all the design tasks we require, and it is very well equipped with good functionality. That is why everyone prefers Adobe Illustrator, as it saves a lot of time. You can work on multiple tasks simultaneously without needing to switch to different software.

For example, when designing for social media, the artboards save a lot of time by allowing us to create multiple layouts on the same canvas without having to create new files.

The only improvement I see is that Adobe Illustrator sometimes crashes, and even though we save our workflow, you cannot keep saving every second. They can optimize it to minimize these crashes.

We used to use Adobe Photoshop only, but we have now completely shifted to Adobe Illustrator.

My experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing for Adobe Illustrator is very convenient. It is very simple; you just use Adobe Creative Cloud with a business subscription, and you deploy the software on all the required systems, and you can start using it.

We definitely need fewer employees because of Adobe Illustrator, but I cannot disclose any metrics or numbers.
