Some Areas for Improvement

If this feature were available on Confluence, it would be a useful tool”

” If you use Agile as a methodology, Trello doesn’t fit very well. It cannot run at the speed of the team or show pending tasks and backlogs as well.”
Bitbucket is 2021’s #2 rated Version Control tool on PeerSpot. Bitbucket is a great place to store your Git code and will also give you a place to collaborate with your teams and test and deploy your code. You get free unlimited repositories and great integration with first- and third-party tools. You also get built-in continuous delivery and expedited code review, which allows for faster build, test, and deploy processes.
One valued user who is a Developer III, Information Technology at an energy/utilities company, said that “Bitbucket is definitely a tool to consider if somebody is still on CVS. It is a great tool and well integrated with Bamboo.”
Another user's experience was that there was a bit of a steep learning curve to working with Bitbucket. The vice president at a comms service provider said that
“Even with the automation, we've had some situations where we've had mistakes. Developers have integrated things into the wrong place, so there's a fairly steep learning curve.”
Bamboo: PeerSpot users give Bamboo an average rating of 8 out of 10 in Build Automation tools. Bamboo is a continuous integration and delivery tool that ties automated builds, tests, and releases together in a single workflow. It works great alongside JIRA and Stash, providing a fully traceable deployment pipeline.
Overall, our users felt that Bamboo was a great tool for automation, handled CI pipeline well, and was very scalable and reliable, but was not an easy solution to use and that certain processes could be made easier.
One reviewer, who is a Senior Software Engineer at a tech services company, said that Bamboo was “reliable, great technical support, and scalable” and that “Bamboo is a bit complicated to use compared to other solutions, such as GitLab. You have to integrate different actions that are difficult that could be made easier.”
Another reviewer, who is a Lead Consultant at a computer software company, shared that Bamboo is “Fairly stable, scalable, and does CI pipeline well, but requires a lot of integration and not easy to use and learn.”
