Seattle-Tacoma International Airport Capital Improvement Project rolled out 150 NEW Workstations, Migrated WIndows server infrastructure in 2004 - 2005. I also upgraded every CIsco Switch onboard all Washington STate Ferry Vessels in 2012

About me

I Currently am VERY happily employed by the Shoshone-Bannock Tribes of Fort Hall Idaho. Here I am in the Lead Role of Sr. Network Engineer and Data Security Engineer. I am revamping a 1350 piece network and migrating from an all physical environment to Virtualization of 30+ servers, improving data security, creating a larger defense in depth scheme and bringing CIA into NIST 800-53 compliance. I am also in the lead for improving network connectivity, reliability and availability throughout the 800+ Sq. Mile Reservation and ALL Tribal facilities.

I have extensive experience in the Information Technology field. I have also worked throught the IT Field on both sides of the SDLC Fence, as Solutions Architect at a major VAR where I learned the ins and outs of the Sales, and SYstem Design Lifecycle. I have been Agile SCRUM Master for two employers providing operations Lead-Management and IT administration for Airline Terminal Systems for 22 Airlines serving Sea-Tac Airport. I also have supported, administered and managed all airport automated signage systems. That position required many hundreds of hours of technical training to airline staff of each airline's individual Host systems and other related components. I have also been responsible for training a staff of 5 FTE's that reported directly to me as well as Executive training of Port of Seattle IT Management of the systems in use at SEA.

I have many years of experience with Ethernet and Token Ring networks, ATM, WIFI, and Serial connectivity.

I have worked at Idaho National Laboratory in the Digital Control and Information Systems (DCIS) on the Private Facilities Control Network, an IT/OT Environment where all Cyber-Physical Security systems based on NIST SP 800-82 Compliance. I have also got previous experience working for Washington State Ferries and upgraded all Cisco switches on board the vessels of the Washington State Ferry System. Beyond this I have many years in SoHo to Enterprise scale business, consulting, training, and just about every single aspect of IT Infrastructure and Engineering from scratch to Maintenance of existing legacy systems.

I Hold Degrees in Electronics Engineering, Network Engineering and Cyber-Physical Security Systems.

I also am a General Class Amateur Radio operator with successful transmissions and contacts around the world.
