I designed and developed some tools for Continuous Delivery for Datapower Solutions at AWS to make more with less.
Our recipe was:
The first step on this adventure was to modify the base solution to be configured by parameters.
The second step was to build a solution to manage the configuration and customization of the base solution for each client.
The third step was to build a solution that takes the base solution and applying to it the configuration and customization for a client to build the artifacts to be deployed to DataPower on Cloud for that client.
The four step was to build a solution that deploy an artifact to DataPower AWS Cloud.
The five step was to build a solution that testing the solution deployed at DataPower AWS Cloud.
The final step was to build the code pipelines and code builds required to be put all together.
The target was achieved.
That was a very good adventure where I learned a lot about Eclipse, XSLT, Maven, DataPower, Code pipelines, Code build, AWS, etc.
Well, maybe we could do it using Jenkins, that it is independent of the platform.
