Hyper-V converged with 2 nodes using as storage Starvin Virtual SAN, implemented a few years ago. A very reliable and versatile storage solution. Zero problems so far, exceptional technical support during this time.
I will use same storage solution. Probably I will use better hardware, 10K hard disk's.
