I received my Master of Science degree in Computer Science from Northwestern University and worked at the avionics firm Astronautics Corporation of America for over ten years. I came to Germany as a DOORS and DXL consultant in 2011. I currently work as a system requirements engineer at Visteon Electronics Germany in Karlsruhe. In my journey from graduate student to engineer and consultant in the avionics and automotive industries, I have written research papers, given numerous presentations and training sessions, led development teams, negotiated requirements with customers (e.g. Airbus, Harman), developed and maintained requirements and processes, as well as planned, specified, developed, and delivered software to stringent processes, including DO-178B levels A through D.
