Great idea to have open source automation framework! Python not a bad choice, perhaps to have a flexible of languages choice like unix, powershell, VB/ASP, Java etc. to reach out more group of developers to join and contribute.

>20 years of IT experience from programing background, systems administrator, then applications support, business analyst and vendor management till team lead supporting department head in projects managing, budget planning, department performance & roadmap presenting to senior management.
