My current company started using AWS Database Migration Service upon my recommendation, and I continue telling people how good of a product it is. However, users should keep in mind a few things. First, you need some preparation to begin using it. You cannot just start after the setup without any basic knowledge or clear vision of your use case. And second, do not get overwhelmed by the abundance of features. AWS is known for making products with many features. You should first learn what they are for and which ones you actually need and will utilize, and then start using the product. It works very well for cloud data purposes, and you will not be sorry if you choose to go with it for this purpose.
I am a big fan of AWS products and services, so I would definitely recommend AWS DMS. However, my first choice for a cloud data integration tool would actually be another AWS product - AWS Glue. Unlike AWS DMS, which is mainly for migration purposes, AWS Glue provides many integration services as well as benefits and works without any issues. Since both products are by Amazon, they work pretty similarly - perfect with native products, and very well with other well-known cloud services and databases. I would say you should choose AWS Glue between the two, but if you are debating between a product from another company and AWS DMS, then definitely go for AWS DMS.
