I would be happy if the patch update could be downloaded to the Vicarius server and then implemented on the client. Currently, they just send a link to the software. For example, if I want to update Chrome, they send me a Google link to download the update. Sometimes, we have restricted firewalls or networks that do not allow us to download the software from the network. If the Vicarius server could download the update to its own servers, it would be much easier to manage. Right now, I have a problem downloading some software for a client because we do not have free access to the network. It would be very helpful if they could download the update themselves. Also, the login process is not easy. When we want to log in, they send an email which is not an easy way to log in.
I have several applications on developers' assets and computers that cannot be updated due to potential conflicts with their current development tools. It would be beneficial if Vicarius vRx could implement smart tagging or suggest tags to create a group for these development tools, signifying that they should not be regularly updated.
I would appreciate additional filter options, such as the ability to filter by AWS tags. Furthermore, enhancing Vicarius vRx with improved third-party integrations, like notifications for external systems, and increased cloud integration for richer instance information, would be valuable improvements. I would like Vicarius vRx to provide more detailed logs.

I would like to see more network architecture elements with patches. We have the ability to search across the network for all switches, routers, and printers, but some devices might be outdated and have vulnerabilities. Additionally, an agent for mobile phones would allow us to monitor corporate mobile devices.
Vicarius vRx's application management capabilities could be improved by allowing users to manage and uninstall applications directly within the GUI, eliminating the need for scripting and streamlining the process.
I don't like logging in. The portal could be a better process. You could use some third-party push notification rather than sending an email, waiting for the link to generate, and clicking on it. That would be good. It's somewhat frustrating when I need to log in.
The network device vulnerability scans can be improved. It would be helpful to be able to mitigate those vulnerabilities using SSH or SNMP to get those updates out to those devices. I don't know if that is possible because it doesn't run an agent. But at the very least, having that CPE information relative to network devices would be incredibly helpful. The purpose behind that is if I have a vulnerable device and the bad guys know it, they can lock up my devices, which would prevent me from restoring from backups. That would be incredibly important.
One difficult thing is all the name changes. I sometimes get confused about what the product is called. It's called connect in some places and vRx in others. When you log into the website, it says it's in beta, which confuses me because it seems like a full-fledged product. Another complaint we've gotten is that the portal doesn't remember your username and password. You tell them your email, and it sends an invitation. You need to click that, and it takes you to a new portal, where you can finally log in. Maybe it's a security precaution, but it seems like a lot of extra steps to log in.

Some of vRx's reporting is difficult to configure. It requires multiple steps, especially if you're configuring more than one report at the same time.
