Email security use cases usually revolve around protection from Ransomware, malware, and DLP. That’s true for SonicWall as well. But I don’t think it’s a full-coverage use case.

Powered by Proofpoint Email Protection’s advanced detection engines and content filtering flags suspicious emails and makes it very easy for users to flag potentially fraudulent emails. Proofpoint’s heuristic detection analyzes message header data, verifies the sender’s IP address, examines the message body as per context, detects malicious IPs, and identifies impersonated supplier domains.

We use the solution to protect the network from targeted phishing campaigns. Using it, we can filter malicious emails with sandboxing feature.
We use this solution for firewalls, email security, and anti-virus. Our mail server has around 4,000 mail IDs.
