AWS IoT Core is used to stream in telemetric data from the vehicle. Predictive maintenance of vehicles is performed using this data to determine whether tires, the engine will fail, or if the vehicle needs scheduled maintenance, or if the vehicle is not fit to drive on the road because of detected defects or anomalies. The telemetric data from the business side is used to do predictive maintenance.
Considering the last couple of months, when my company was functioning mostly on an on-premises model, we decided to move to an AWS environment. My current company may have a partnership with Amazon since we received a lot of training from the team that manages AWS. In my organization, we use AWS IoT Core within our industry to start up some older machines and assets and measure the behavior of the sensors of different assets.
