My main use case for Adobe Illustrator includes designing logos and tasks that require design work. Adobe Illustrator is a go-to software for us. A recent project where I used Adobe Illustrator is a full end-to-end branding for a celebrity-backed restaurant located in Mumbai, India. We launched it, and it went viral. For the same restaurant, the entire design system, the logo, all the printables, and every single thing that required designs, including wallpapers, wall murals, social media designs, and everything else was designed on Adobe Illustrator, including a couple of design elements on the website as well. For projects such as these, we do sketches first as stencils on notebooks and papers, and then we later get those onto Adobe Illustrator to convert our vision into digital designs.
