This solution allows us to have an overview of the infrastructure and identify areas where the performance isn't optimal, or where upgrades could be carried out.

One of the things that I like about DX Infrastructure is that the topology is good enough to see what is happening in the infrastructure. You also get alerts if something is happening in the network.

There are many features and benefits. It is serving our customers in knowing exactly how their network is performing in terms of reliability. It also helps them in planning the capacity. They know how much bandwidth the branches are consuming.

It gives us visibility inside applications. It helps us to dig down and find the root cause of any issue within the network.

It is easy to implement but requires good planning.

I believe we pay around CAD $400,000 per year. It's a pay per consumption fee.

I'm a technical associate at a global integrator that provides data center transformation (Private and Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure) and other services. We are evaluating both CA UIM and ManageEngine. What is the main difference between the two? Thank you for helping me. I appreciate it!

UIM is a very old, expensive, conglomeration of tools all written by different companies. ManageEngine has moderate capabilities but largely developed for smaller companies. If you read their reviews there is a great deal of angst with their support and implementation services. Also, they are all separate products built to be standalone so there is not the integration you would find in a true AIOps platform. They are also far more expensive than our offering. Modern-day servers are robust enough to accommodate as many applications and processes as possible. Still, there is a limit to how much load a server can handle. If your business does not heed the server constraints in time, you are bound to suffer from operational loss due to server downtimes. To closely monitor your server health, you must track specific metrics regularly. Here are some s...

Collecting as many metrics, statuses, and logs about the servers is indeed the first step, you never know what data you will need to solve a particular problem. The second step is to process and correctly pinpoint where the network performance/behavior differs from the expected range/baseline.  Can your network monitoring software automate the obvious (execute remote corrective actions in response to alerts) and notify the IT person about only critical situations where the human needs to make a decision about the resolution options? We expect the network monitoring software today to do just that.  I would say NetCrunch can do it, but do you have any experience with other monitoring products that provide a similar type of monitoring experience for IT teams?
