What are the pros and cons of Infor M3 Supply Chain and MRP?

Hello peers, 

I am the VP of IT and Finance at a medium-sized hospitality company.

We are in the process of implementing Infor M3. Our implementor has us review the features to manage our items in M3 by either the Supply Chain function or MRP to let the system manage how to replenish the demand.

Which are the pros and cons of each function? Which function do you prefer?
