Poor user interface and not user-friendly, but flexible

What is our primary use case?

We are using IBM Cloud Kubernetes Service for the microservices.

What is most valuable?

IBM Cloud Kubernetes Service has enough flexibility that we needed.

What needs improvement?

IBM Cloud Kubernetes Service is not user-friendly, they could improve the user interface, and add more features to compete with Amazon AWS which is better.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have used IBM Cloud Kubernetes Service for approximately one year.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

IBM Cloud Kubernetes Service is a stable solution.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

IBM Cloud Kubernetes Service is a scalable solution, but it is not auto-scaling.

We have over 10 teams that are using the solution.

How are customer service and support?

The technical support from IBM is very poor and is one of the reasons we moved to Amazon AWS.

How was the initial setup?

The initial implementation of IBM Cloud Kubernetes Service is simple. It is similar to Amazon AWS. The process took approximately 20 minutes with all the configuring.

What about the implementation team?

I did the implementation of the solution myself and I have done it with my team. We used more than 20 people for deployment purposes with CI/CD engineers.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

The price of the solution was fine.

What other advice do I have?

We have moved to Amazon AWS from using IBM Cloud Kubernetes Service. I would recommend this solution if they improved the support.

I rate IBM Cloud Kubernetes Service a five out of ten.
