It improved the capability to analyze the environment and network problems. It also helped streamline your security and performance monitoring.

The application I use is a script. My environment is a mix of technologies. I have many passionate people in my network who are on a journey in technology. I frequently use three pieces of the application: technology platforms and MatchFlow.

We use the solution for traffic grouping and SSL detection. 

The tool's most valuable feature is the encryption feature. From a security perspective, the solution hasn't significantly strengthened our security posture. However, it has greatly improved performance by streamlining encryption processes and avoiding encryption at multiple layers. This has also simplified troubleshooting, as we can whitelist certain processes.

The traffic aggregation and transformation feature has significantly impacted our analysis process. The tool helps us investigate our network packet capture. Data aggregation occurs at the network packet capture level, enabling thorough investigation. However, the tool lacks intelligence in providing visibility or traffic flow analysis. Instead, we use other tools to enhance our visibility and analysis based on the captured data.

I use the solution for copying the data centers.

They should increase the solution's cluster capacity.

We mostly use it for network visibility, security monitoring, and performance monitoring.

The most valuable feature for improving network visibility with Gigamon is the packet filtering capability. This feature allows us to select and focus on the specific network traffic that we need for deep analysis, while also eliminating duplicates.

We primarily use the solution for mobile network monitoring. It's for traffic monitoring. 

The performance has been good. It's a very powerful tool.

It offers straightforward integration.

The initial setup is pretty straightforward.

We use the solution for network management purposes.

The solution has the best hardware features. It doesn't have any obstructions or blocks.

The only scenario where I used Gigamon was to take out the SSL inspection from my firewall and leave this inspection to Gigamon. 

It is a good product. It provides network visibility, which is important. Gigamon can bring some optimizations to my network. It is helpful for security inspection, and it makes my firewall work fast because my firewall doesn't have to do the inspection of the SSL connections, for example.
