Simple Interface and Advance Settings

Retina a network security scanner developed by very reputed security research, is developed on .net platform which make it quite heavy application as compared to java platform. However its interface is very simple which is very good thing, as any one can learn Retina in a matter of hours. Also the new version has got a quite a few advance setting. Again for the time taken to scan a local host was almost 30 minutes, Reporting is quite fantastic as you can define what and how it should show in the report
In short to summarize my experience with Retain i would say that it has the quality and functions required in a network scanner, however it still has a few areas to improve on.
