AI-powered discovery enhances threat visibility while customer support excels
I am a reseller. One of our customers suffered an attack a few months ago, and they discovered that they have some data available on the deep and dark web. The biggest driver for using ThreatMon was takedown services. SIEM integration into their incident response was also essential. They wanted…

Built faster threat response and improved visibility with real-time monitoring and flexible deployment
TrendAI Vision One allows us to monitor attacks in real time, which is a significant benefit. We can quickly see where the attack is coming from. TrendAI Vision One enables us to use different products with a flexible license. For example, if a customer is using endpoint security and wants to switch to another solution, they can instantly use a different Trend Micro product, such as email. TrendAI Vision One has helped to reduce the time to detect and respond to different threats, as it can respond to attacks very quickly. With playbook templates, in cases of recurring attacks, responses can be made quickly using predefined playbooks. TrendAI Vision One has helped to reduce noise from false positives. There have been false positives before, but it was due to the customer not telling us which app they were using. Best practice configurations must be applied properly to avoid such issues. TrendAI Vision One helps customers consolidate the use of security vendors and reduce silos by offering one platform for all product management.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"I would recommend ThreatMon."
"Machine learning or AI discovery, which discovers our resources on the deep and dark web, has been very useful."
"The integration is also nice because there are many external tools that we can connect to the platform, such as configuration management tools. Because the platform is integrated, I can manage almost the whole company across our global organization."
"The zero-day vulnerability is valuable."
"I like Vision One's workbench. It provides helpful logs that I can search, and the telemetry is excellent because I can see what's happening during an attack or potential attack."
"TrendAI Vision One has positively impacted our organization by giving us fewer false positive alerts, and with its support, we are securing our environment against upcoming vulnerabilities such as zero-day attacks."
"The solution is very easy to use."
"The most important features of Vision One include visibility, AI integration, attack pattern analysis, predictive analytics, and centralized visibility and management across protection layers."
"VisionOne offers a clear window into the security posture of our endpoints."
"TrendAI Vision One allows us to monitor attacks in real time, which is a significant benefit, and we can quickly see where the attack is coming from."

Cons

"We are looking at a better pricing model to onboard as many customers as possible."
"ThreatMon is very expensive."
"In comparison to Trellix, one disadvantage of Trend Micro is the DLP feature. Trend Micro has a light DLP, while Trellix offers a perfect DLP."
"The only downside to Trend Vision One is its complexity."
"It is a bit slow to implement kernel support on the Linux side. When doing patching and upgrades on our Linux servers, we often find that the Trend agent doesn't support the kernel version."
"The features of Trend Vision One are fine—it's the integration that needs work. Especially at the endpoint level, we still feel like we're using an older product that just got plugged into Trend Vision One."
"The price could be lower."
"In new versions I would like to see better implementation of the reporting features, especially in regards to EDR visibility."
"They need to modify their licensing mechanism and improve their AI-based detections."
"The centralized dashboard has room for improvement."
