By focusing on the following activities, Verizon accomplish this objective: Identify critical functions, infrastructure and risks; Implement strategies to minimize the risk of a disruption; Develop Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery plans, and Crisis Management Teams to recover operations in the event of a disruption; Maintain BC/DR plans, with updates completed at least annually; and Test our plans, at least annually, to validate our response capabilities.
