Customization and automation drive effective user training and insights sharing
Recently, the price of SAP CRM has increased, which is one concern. Another issue is that sometimes we experience slow performance. Reports in SAP CRM itself can become very slow. Other than that, it is a very good CRM system. I am happy with SAP CRM because whenever we have requirements for changes or customization as per our needs, we get them, and the downtime is minimal. We are getting very good support from the incident team and the in-house support team who are responsible for customization. Some customer centers have moved to Salesforce, but I don't have any experience with Salesforce to make a comparison.

The project and task management features are valuable.
Project and task management Finance and bill management CRM We use it as a team management tool and online service for billing and finance management, and contact management as well. We are waiting for a new UI design, and also I think that not having a mobile version is a weakness. I think I…

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"It's a good tool because in the same software, in the ERP, you have a CRM and all the administration, documents and policies in the same product."
"Its scalability is good."
"What I found most valuable in SAP CRM is its multitenancy, and you can use it from your website, SMS, and even social media, and it's all integrated, so my company is trying to leverage on all of those."
"Once the lead is matured, you can convert it into an opportunity and you can track it by the opportunity based on the product segment."
"The stability is good."
"The features that are used most are the lead model and the opportunity model. We can create many different pipelines with many phases. These features improved our process in the States very well."
"We use SAP CRM for customer service improvement. The main idea is to make sure our team has the right information when talking to customers. This helps them process things like price approvals for quotes faster. The goal is to make the product more efficient, and faster, and, in the end, provide better customer service."
"The platform is highly scalable."
"Creating a streamlined process from sales through to completion of projects has made an immense difference to our operations."
"It is deceptively simple but remarkably powerful."
"WORKetc is a great tool; complex and useful; maybe even too complex with a lot of customized options."

Cons

"The product's pricing could be better."
"SAP must provide a demo system for the customers."
"Our users are using it primarily from their laptop browser and very few are using it on their mobile because the mobile is not that user-friendly."
"CRM is costlier than its competitors."
"The implementation and integrations could be better. After we went into the production environment, we had some issues."
"One area for improvement is the security model, especially regarding records management retention and the audit and legal holds."
"In terms of visibility of the data, there's a very limited set that we have access to and sometimes it's very difficult and not user-friendly to analyze from front end to back end. It's the biggest challenge, even if I'm working with an organization where we've implemented SAP."
"Content management is one area where SAP CRM could use some work because we were seeking a CRM solution that could store BLOB data, like PDF and email data, which takes up a lot of space in the database. Recently, we migrated to a content server, but it would be nice if CRM had built-in BLOB data management because BLOB data is a challenge we've been dealing with since last year."
"The UI needs to move forward to a refreshed version but this is in the works."
"We are waiting for a new UI design, and also I think that not having a mobile version is a weakness."
"It just feels that the current UI is a bit old school."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"There is a license required to use SAP CRM."
"The solution is expensive."
"SAP CRM offers a free trial for anyone wanting to test the product before purchasing it."
"Every user needs to have a license."
"From the maintenance perspective, SAP CRM is quite expensive compared to cloud services because the current solution they're using is managed by us and we are hosting it on servers. There is the cost of hosting, and managing servers and applications. The overhead is substantial, but this solution is a legacy system. It will take some time for the customer to migrate out of it."
"The company has seen an increase in revenue."
"SAP CRM is an expensive product."
"Its price is reasonable. As compared to other CRMs, this CRM is competitively priced. They have multiple flavors with different sets of functionality. Pricing is based on the flavor that suits your requirement. If you have more users, the cost will come down."
