Traceless online searches, stable, and scalable
There is a semantic oncology dynamic relationship between how the MIGR Tech framework needs more data infusion enrichment capabilities. To be clear, what the vendor is doing is of a high standard, and my only critique is that they need to make new enhancements. I am aware that the vendor is making a concerted effort to add additional information to their repository, and it is something they actively do. The vendor has publicly stated that they will work on this, and I always pay attention to make sure they adhere to that. This does not change over time. The export feature of the recording needs to stop being so restricted. When they record in order to save themselves by operations, I would expect that as a super user, if I asked to download the dataset I'm looking for, I would not be limited in my data downloads. One of the cool things is, let's say we do our entire research and we want to save all of the materials that were returned, and that special custom search that we made, we can export that into a CSV file. The problem is it gets restricted. So sometimes when I say it's restricted, we don't get all the data that we saw online. So then we have to go and manually search for the specific thing we're looking for. I would like to have the URI and whatever value set that I search off, and for the NLP package to not be stripped out. It's like saying I want to do a Pcap analysis. Don't strip out the Pcap when I asked to see Pcap. That's what they're doing. They do this for many different reasons. One of them is, imagine if everyone downloaded datasets that are very large and it brings the whole system down.

Easy-to-deploy product with good technical support services
Our organization relies on numerous SaaS services for critical business functions, such as CRM and monitoring solutions. In a hypothetical scenario where a security breach occurs in the CRM database, potentially exposing our data and our clients, SecurityScorecard proves invaluable. It provides a security score, typically a percentage, based on extensive data collection from various sources, including the dark web and social networks. Let's say our CRM solution receives a security score of 78%, indicating a relatively safe status according to the information gathered by SecurityScorecard. One of its most effective features for risk identification is its enterprise-ready automation for third-party risk measurements. Additionally, it provides valuable insights into vulnerabilities within an organization, utilizing tools such as CVE details. For instance, it can assign a score based on vulnerabilities detected, such as 60%, and specify each vulnerability by its identifier. It offers scalability and can handle large volumes of real-time data. The continuous monitoring feature significantly enhances the ability to manage risks by providing real-time data collection on suppliers. We can observe fluctuations in their security levels over time, sometimes even every month. We can create alerts for high-risk situations, enabling organizations to respond promptly to potential security threats or vulnerabilities identified within their supplier network. The product's security ratings are helpful. While there may be occasional false positives, it does not function as a scanning solution. Instead, it presents the same information that hackers could potentially exploit. While I haven't worked with other cybersecurity rating solutions, I can attest to its strengths based on my experience. One notable advantage is their extensive data collection capabilities, surpassing many competitors in the market. They gather a wide range of information, resulting in a vast database that includes many suppliers or companies. It is easy to integrate with other tools. I rate it a nine out of ten.

Automating intelligence workflows significantly reduces false positives and enhances response efficiency
ThreatConnect Threat Intelligence Platform (TIP) offers valuable workflows that integrate with our SOAR platform. It performs dedicated threat scoring capabilities which enrich internal indicators and automate response actions. This has been a key feature in our environment, which we have utilized for picking IOCs. The platform can be domain-specific and customer-specific, allowing data isolation for each customer. The scoring capabilities of ThreatConnect Threat Intelligence Platform (TIP) deserve a rating of nine out of ten. Its scalability and threat scoring capabilities have reduced false positives in our detection, as we dynamically change the IOCs which are updated daily through scheduled polling time over QRadar and SOAR.

Pros

"From the feedback I've received from my clients, the most valuable feature is the ability to personalize the solution. The ability to have a customized dashboard makes it easy for leadership and management to obtain details. Intelligence analysts or security engineers care about the actions and results, whereas the leadership care about graphs and reports. Recorded Future helps my clients create reports and also determine how the intelligence that is generated is consumed. They can easily show the benefits to the leadership without them having to invest 10 hours a week into transferring numbers into a graph or into creating reports."
"The tool can integrate with a lot of security control and proactive protection devices."
"The most valuable feature of Recorded Future is how it detects everything regarding our domain."
"As a threat intelligence tool, it's very helpful."
"The intel that they were providing us over the emails was very good. If it found any hashtag in our organization's name on the dark web, a rogue IP, or a marketplace, it would send us an email and notify us that this is being mentioned, and if we want, they can take some action."
"It can collect data from various sources, including social media and the dark web."
"Recorded Future has some important strengths. It has a long history of success in the market and is known for excellent threat intelligence. Its team is skilled at using AI to search for and report on threats. For many years, it was seen as the best in the industry."
"The most valuable features of Recorded Future are the useful alerts it provides. If we are monitoring a domain, the solution will provide us with an alert in a prompt manner. It is simple for clients to receive alerts. The advanced search is useful for more accurate filter results."

"The biggest benefit is visibility, allowing organizations to understand their risks, vulnerabilities, and potential threats."
"With SecurityScorecard, the most valuable feature is the ability to identify if third parties or vendors have digital threats that may impact our company. It also scans all internal domains and IPs to find vulnerabilities in the digital landscape. The continuous monitoring capabilities have been beneficial by providing ongoing assessments of potential risks."
"I rate the product's initial setup phase a nine on a scale of one to ten, where one is a difficult setup phase, and ten is an easy setup process."
"The solution helps identify our environment's vulnerabilities."
"Fortify Data offers attack surface capabilities that identify vulnerabilities, exposed ports, and dark web information."
"The product automatically generated a threat score based on the maliciousness of an IP."
"ThreatConnect has a highly user-friendly interface."

"The most valuable features are ease of use and the ability to customize it."
"The tool's installation, integration, and playbooks are very straightforward."

Cons

"At present, my clients need to be trained by me or another organization on how to use Recorded Future and how to get the best out of it as an analyst, engineer, and administrator. It would be better if clients could directly learn these things without having to go through me or other organizations."
"Lacks sufficient visibility of malware and international APT attacks."
"While I don't think the tool is weak, its position isn't as dominant as it once was. Other companies like CrowdStrike and Mandiant are now challenging them in many areas. One downside is that Recorded Future can be complex for customers to use and understand. This isn't easy for clients to navigate."
"There is a semantic oncology dynamic relationship between how the MIGR Tech framework needs more data infusion enrichment capabilities."
"When you add one website to Recorded Future, it should automatically call all other websites and social media platforms."
"The solution could improve in reducing the false positives. However, most of the other tools on the market have false positives. If they enhance their data algorithm, it could improve the accuracy of results and minimize false positives. Identifying patterns of false possibilities can aid in developing better reporting features that could potentially eliminate them in the future. This recording feature tool could benefit from adopting similar techniques utilized by other tools to enhance its functionality. By doing so, it could minimize the need for manual efforts in distinguishing true positives from false positives, ultimately reducing the workload."
"We can get the data of different malware active throughout the globe, but it would be good if we can do sandboxing of a file. For example, on Any Run, we can perform sandboxing of malware along with their intel about a particular file or hash. It would be great if they have a feature like that."
"The tool should improve its third-party supply chain risks because there is a lack of visibility."
"Some wanted a different solution."
"There are areas for improvement in response times and overall support."
"The pricing of the product needs improvement in Brazil."
"There could be more information in regards to solving problems like hints on what specifically to look for."
"The tool needs to have the ability to mitigate vulnerabilities with alternative solutions."
"The product can be improved by incorporating more data points and intelligence around dark web information and threat data."
"SecurityScorecard's technical team's response time is an area that my company expects to be made faster."
"They could improve the process with a questionnaire module for the product."
"I would like to see improvements in the time zone support of their customer service, considering users are from different time zones."
"Support is an area with which nobody is ever fully satisfied, so it can be improved."
"ThreatConnect Threat Intelligence Platform (TIP) could be improved by addressing challenges such as the customization over the tagging mechanism, where filtering based on individual tags is not available, limiting data export."
"They should make it a little bit easier to generate events and share them with the community"
"Sometimes, when using the solution, it slows down, affecting our ability to mitigate threats."
"I couldn’t get any training videos online when I was working with the tool."
"Integration is an area that could use some improvement."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"I would rate the solution’s pricing a seven out of ten."
"The biggest disadvantage of Recorded Future is the cost here in Eastern Europe. The solution is correctly priced for big companies who have the money to invest in such solutions. Also, the solution is useless on its own, which means that you have to invest in other solutions with which Recorded Future can be integrated. At present, Recorded Future can cost 60,000 euros per year. I am able to offer my clients a 5% to 10% discount, but in this region, the cost is still prohibitive even with the discount. If Recorded Future were more flexible in terms of price, there would be better sales opportunities in Europe and Eastern Europe, in particular, because we have more small- and medium-sized companies here."
"There appear to be up to five different levels, with the most expensive version costing around $95,000 to $105,000 a year for subscription services."
"The price of the solution is worth it. The overall performance of the solution outweighs the cost."
"The pricing of SecurityScorecard is fair. I would rate it a seven. It's a bit more on the expensive side. In Brazil, for example, making a payment to the vendor involves wire transfers and high taxes, making it more expensive. Selling SecurityScorecard or any American vendor's product in the United States is very different from selling in South America or Brazil."
"The pricing could be split into a lower-paid tier for smaller organizations and another higher tier for others with a more security-focused outlook. $1000 per month is more than some companies pay for their internet connections in total. UPDATE: they have a new 400$ a month tier for starters."
"Even though it's competitive, they offer flexible pricing structures."
"The price of this product is in the mid-range, not too expensive, nor inexpensive."
"I rate the product price as six on a scale of one to ten, where one is extremely expensive, and ten means it is cheap."
"The tool is expensive."
"The price could be better."
