Intuitive and easy to use with almost no coding
The ability to analyze the business logic built over the years in ABAP and then convert it was pretty amazing. This is the first time I saw a solution that offers something like that. While obviously, it can't convert 100% of the logic (we had over 30,000 lines of code in this process alone), it did pretty well. Afterward, my team had to go in and complete the rest - using drag and drop - almost with no use of code. I love how they took the MIT Scratch concept and implemented it into the in-app backend. It makes the app creation so much more intuitive and easy to use.

Has customization and integration capabilities which increase efficiency
Salesforce could improve by offering AI features or functionalities to help business decision-makers analyze business history, suggest forward strategies, and participate in events. The previous version had a complicated interface where multiple pages and data entries were required, which was not pleasant for sales teams or business users. Also, deploying Salesforce took a long time, about four to five months, which is not ideal for any business.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"I believe that this is the only product in the market that truly supports offline capabilities in an SAP environment."
"I love how they took the MIT Scratch concept and implemented it into the in-app backend. It makes the app creation so much more intuitive and easy to use."
"The solution is very robust and easy to develop in."
"The technical support services are good."
"I'm not sure what the most valuable aspect of the solution is, but I can say that their finance and auditing systems are quite impressive. You can audit in different invoices right to procurement. It's all quite seamless."
"Salesforce offers control over the opportunities to see where we are and gives me high-level dashboards on each opportunity stage."
"The tool's most valuable feature is the CRM. Salesforce Platform comes with out-of-the-box capabilities."
"We use this solution to track customer activities, opportunities and contact information."
"The most valuable aspect of the solution is the unit coordination between sales and marketing when it comes to lead management."
"The solution is easy to use."

Cons

"While we're not in a place of letting LOB analysts build apps, at some point, we may want to give them a bit more freedom - as long as we can limit their ability to harm the ERP data. I would like to see more tools pertaining to this area."
"The modernizer element should convert a higher percentage of the ABAP code, moving it from approximately 75%, closer to 100%."
"Areas of improvement can be around Engagement of Customers feature and approvals of transactional records."
"Getting reports in Salesforce is sometimes a little bit difficult. You need to do a lot of things to get detailed reports. This feature can be improved. Its price can also be improved. It is currently expensive."
"I don't have any notes for improvement. It serves us well."
"I think that Salesforce can improve lead management when it comes to B2C. I would like to have more features specifically related to the B2C segment. The current process where you create a lead that's in the B2C segment and it creates an account makes no sense."
"Sometimes it would be a little bit slow, however, it's manageable."
"This platform is indeed on the expensive side."
"I have found it takes an exceedingly long time to put opportunities or clients in the system. If I have an opportunity that I need to put in the system it could take approximately 10 minutes. This is a lot of time when you have multiple opportunities to put in. There are other tasks to do that are required by supervisors, such as forecasts. What I have done to save time is I did not input as much detail as I could have because I knew it was going to take me an hour to get five leads in."
"Salesforce could improve by offering AI features or functionalities to help business decision-makers analyze business history, suggest forward strategies, and participate in events."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"It is straightforward consumption based on the number of end-users."
"rice-wise, the solution is reasonable for what we're getting."
"The cost is reasonable for the corporations I work for. I would say an average would be around $100 per month per user."
"It is expensive. Licensing is on an annual basis."
"Costly, but it is the top product in SaaS/PaaS. Pricing is more for large to enterprise level companies."
"I don't know anything about its cost, but I'm sure it has got a nice little price tag that goes along with it."
"Salesforce is cheap."
"It is quite expensive. Its developers come at a premium cost, which makes it expensive."
"Pricing and license differ and depend on how much license you are purchasing from them."
