Secure self-hosted editing has enabled real-time collaboration for critical web applications
The best features ONLYOFFICE Docs Enterprise offers are its self-hosted deployment and the fact that the data which I am working on never leaves my infrastructure. It features JWT-based authentication, supports TLS, and data in transit is also secure. These are the best features I appreciate the most about it because when I use some other tools rather than my on-premises application, these types of tools are very trustworthy. These security features in ONLYOFFICE Docs Enterprise impact my work significantly because when I deal with critical systems, I need a strong secure mechanism so that no other entity or attacker can attack the site and manipulate the data in between. Features such as JWT authentication, where I identify which user is trying to access the data or the document, directly help me verify whether the document is related to this particular user or not. Collaboration with ONLYOFFICE Docs Enterprise is real-time, allowing me to work on real-time data. When I work, multiple people can work on the same documents simultaneously. It operates in real-time where I can put real-time comments that are directly visible to the other users or other teammates. Version history is also a good feature where I can see the versions of the document. ONLYOFFICE Docs Enterprise has positively impacted my organization by reducing the processing time, which it usually takes with other tools, by 20% to 40% through its real-time data fetching and collaboration, making it easier for my team as well.

The security architecture is the only problem as it's a little bit complex and too torturous at times. So it could be improved a little bit, but it is regarded as a very good system in Australia. It's probably overly subscribed. Also, what's missing is what people would like, which is basically online collaboration. That's a problem. But it has so many other things to offer that SharePoint, I'm sure, will not have. So, that will be an interesting issue to come up. It's not very good at providing stable and robust add-ins to Microsoft. That's a bit of a problem with Content Manager. They're kind of very volatile. So, that's been definitely something that could be improved.

"I would suggest that you do a thorough evaluation of all competing products and look for support for these products in your local area."
"The fees incurred are for the licensing and maintenance."
