Offers in-memory protection at a lower price than competitors

Morphisec's in-memory protection is probably the most valuable feature because it stops malicious activity from occurring. If something tries to install or act as a sleeper agent, Morphisec will detect and stop it. Morphisec's Moving Target Defense is critical to hardening our attack surface. If it detects something, it indicates whether it's valid. That means you've got a breach requiring investigation. It detects anomalies but doesn't necessarily point to what caused them. You still need to do that work. The solution is reasonably easy to administer. They made some changes last year, adding a cloud-based monitoring solution that makes deploying and monitoring our endpoints easy.

SentinelOne Singularity Complete integrates with our other security solutions, correlating data from NDR, ADR, SIEM, and XDR tools. All this information is consolidated within SentinelOne, providing a centralized access point. SentinelOne Singularity Complete has helped us streamline our security operations by consolidating multiple solutions into a single platform. We are currently in the process of acquiring a threat intelligence platform to complete our security stack. We use Ranger to monitor our network and track connected devices. This is crucial because it helps us quickly identify unauthorized machines connected to our infrastructure, including personal devices. We have additional security measures in place, but Ranger provides an extra layer of protection. It also alerts us if the SentinelOne Singularity Complete agent is missing from any new or existing machines, allowing us to take appropriate action. SentinelOne Ranger's agentless and hardware-independent nature is crucial for our environment with 26,000 endpoints, as manual management of such a large number would be extremely challenging. Ranger uses a multi-layered approach to prevent vulnerable devices from being compromised. We employ scanners, network configurations, and a risk scanner to assess devices, endpoints, servers, and cloud infrastructures. Vulnerability reports and timelines for remediation are shared with device owners or custodians. This proactive strategy enables us to address vulnerabilities efficiently and secure our infrastructure. SentinelOne Singularity Complete has significantly enhanced our security posture. While no system is impenetrable, this solution has brought us closer to achieving a high level of protection, ensuring we maintain at least a 90 percent security level. Our team is dedicated to refining alerts and eliminating false positives from our solutions. Additionally, a team is responsible for identifying and excluding alerts from the solution. We can manually expedite this process by reviewing these elements and utilizing our security tools. We have been able to reduce the alert volume by 20 percent. Our 30-member Security Operations Center team has been able to redirect their focus to other tasks due to the time saved after implementing SentinelOne Singularity Complete. SentinelOne Singularity Complete has helped us improve our mean time to detect threats, which we accomplish using the Vigilance service for detection and response. SentinelOne Singularity Complete has helped us decrease our organizational risk. We utilize the Security Scorecard to manage our security posture, which has remained steady at 90 percent.

"The fact that Morphisec uses deterministic attack prevention that does not require human intervention has affected our security team's operations by making things much simpler. We don't have to really track down various alerts anymore, they've just stopped. At that point, we can go in and we can clean up whatever needs to be cleaned up. There are some things that Morphisec detects that we can't really remove, it's parts of Internet Explorer, but it's being blocked anyway. So we're happy with that."

"Morphisec stops attacks without needing to know what type of threat it is, just that it is foreign. It is based on injections, so it would know when a software launches. If a software launches and something else also launches, then it would count that as anomalous and block it. Because the software looks at the code, and if it executes something else that is not related, then Morphisec would block it. That is how it works."

"Sometimes it generates false positive alerts. They need to continue working on that. They have provided solutions for it and have fixed issues with updated versions. The service is quite good but they need to work on it more so that there are no false positive alerts."

At this time, it's recognizing vulnerabilities and reporting them to us, but it's not necessarily resolving them. "It does not have multi-tenants. If South Africa wants to show only the machines that they have, they need their own cloud incidence. It is not possible to have that in a single cloud incidence with multiple tenants in it, instead you need to have multiple cloud incidences. Then, if you have that, it will be more expensive. However, they are going to change that, which is good."

"It is an annual subscription basis per device. For the devices that we have in scope right now, it is about $25,000 a year."

"Our licensing is tied into our contract. Because we have a long-term contract, our pricing is a little bit lower. It is per year, so we don't get charged per endpoint, but we do have a cap. Our cap is 80 endpoints. If we were to go over 80, when we renewed our contract, which is not until three years are over. Then, they would reevaluate, and say, "Well, you have more than 80 devices active right now. This is going to be the price change." They know that we are installing and replacing computers, so the numbers will be all over the place depending on whether you archive or don't archive, which is the reason why we just have to keep up on that stuff."
