Quotes From Members
We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"It's a very powerful tool.""We have a centralized delivery team and we are able to meet enterprise requirements, which include different types of protocols that are involved, including scripting. The technology supports that and enables us to have a wider range of testing. Enterprise-level testing is something that we are satisfied with.""We have Performance Center as a platform to share with others that don't do performance testing full-time, so that they in an agile fashion, on demand can go ahead and get real issue-finding testing done.""The product is very user-friendly.""The solution is a very user-friendly tool, especially when you compare it to a competitor like BlazeMeter.""One of the most valuable features of this solution is recording and replaying, and the fact that there are multiple options available to do this.""Micro Focus LoadRunner Enterprise Is very user-friendly.""The most beneficial features of the solution are flexibility and versatility in their performance."

"Has a very smooth process for launching and closing the application after execution.""The most valuable aspects of the solution are the font, size, and interface.""The way it identifies elements is good.""Before using Telerik Test Studio, I was a manual tester, so it was my first automation tool, yet I felt very comfortable using it. I've used the record and play feature, and Telerik Test Studio was easy to use. The tool was easy to understand, even for a first-time user like me.""The performance and load testing are very good."

Cons
"The solution can be improved by making it more user-friendly, and by including autocorrelation capability.""It is tough to maintain from the infrastructure side.""The support team needs to be more coordinated.""After they get over the acquisition, the first improvement is going to be tailoring it for their existing stack of other products. How would LoadRunner work for Documentum? How would it work for Business Network? How would it work for other apps? They can have a pre-package or a guide because they are all in the same family as opposed to being outside.""Integration can be tricky during the setup process.""It would be beneficial if LoadRunner could optimize resource usage, especially for protocols that require significant resources, like TrueClient, which interacts directly with the UI. If they could improve resource usage, like ingest or for the load generator, using less CPU or RAM memory, that would be great. That's where I have problems.""LoadRunner Enterprise's reporting should be quicker, easier, and more flexible.""In Micro Focus LoadRunner Enterprise, I need to spend a lot of time training people, while on other low-code or no-code platforms, I need not invest that much time."

"Its UI is not very user-friendly and could be improved. For new users, it isn't easy.""The charts need to be more detailed and customizable.""There are some compatibility issues with the load standpoint test.""It can be improved by including a feature that allows multiple file types to be selected simultaneously.""I observed that the Excel and Word validation was quite challenging, which is an area for improvement in the tool. I also experienced minor difficulties with Telerik Test Studio, particularly in fetching elements in some scenarios when using C# for coding."

  • "It is a bit expensive when compared with other tools."
  • "ROI is 200%."
  • "It is a bit expensive, especially for smaller organizations, but over-all it can save you money."
  • "The price is okay. You're able to buy it, as opposed to paying for a full year."
  • "They have a much more practical pricing model now."
  • "I have not been directly involved in price negotiations but my understanding is that while the cost is a little bit high, it provides good value for the money."
