Fast and secure deployments simplify operations for government and fintech clients
It is a fast and secure DNS. It is very easy to deploy, and my customers are happy with this tool. Additionally, the CDN performance in Mexico is excellent, providing fast service and tools. It offers reliability during high-traffic periods, ensuring no impact on the environment. It helps my clients avoid using on-premise boxes, simplifying operations as they only use the prices on Cloudflare.

Has provided strong data protection capabilities while offering valuable policy customization options
I find unique value in McAfee Total Protection for Data Loss Prevention specifically in controlling the application from a DLP perspective; when a computer downloads a package, you can understand where it downloaded this package from, and you can create a policy regarding the source of the download. This is actually an important and valuable feature, specifically in enterprises where they download, upload, and export critical reports from their business applications. I appreciate the customized policy features in McAfee Total Protection for Data Loss Prevention because we didn't find these features in other competing applications. This may be a requirement from business customers who have important or critical applications; they expect to understand that these are critical files because this is a critical application. This cannot be done although we are with Trellix or McAfee solution.

Streamlines firewall management and has reliable security features
The primary feature is managing firewalls through Panorama, especially when handling multiple firewalls across different sites like headquarters and remote sites. Additionally, the security modules like Data Loss Prevention and antivirus are vital as they integrate into the firewall to protect endpoints. These features are automated via cloud connections to Palo Alto Networks, ensuring up-to-date security signatures.

"McAfee Total Protection for Data Loss Prevention works perfectly as a DLP solution; it is a matured and established solution that may have a shortage in applying AI, but it has good new approaches in data classification, built-in solution, and also re-architecture for the OCR solution inside the application."
"The interface showcases threat incidents very well."

Cons

"Although I think it's quite good, it doesn't provide me with all the features I would expect to have if I were using Imperva."
"The product needs to improve its automation."
"Cloudflare's console should be made more user-friendly."
"Latencies are always a problem."
"They lack a good way to manage DNS as a company, since everything is relegated to single account logins until you get to the higher levels. They have come out with a paid feature to remedy this, but I have not had a chance to fully review it yet to know if it fixes the access problem."
"There could be more courses with engineers. I like e-learning, however, having a specialist in a classroom is more comfortable for me."
"The Cloudflare load balancing capability hasn't really helped in enhancing my website's uptime and resiliency because we don't really get that much traffic; it's mostly remote users, and web hosting is done by a web hosting service."
"We have noticed multiple instances where Cloudflare falsely indicates that our servers are down, even when there is no actual load on them. This makes it challenging for us to identify the exact issue."
"I would like the solution to improve the AI features for anti-virus detection. I also want the software to include a tool for malware detection."
"Lacks GDPR regulations to enhance security."
"Our client is not very happy with the lack of support, the skills, and the effectiveness of the tool."
"The pricing is high for licensing and support and the GUI interface is good but could use updating."
"There are a lot of vulnerabilities and viruses and malware can proliferate."
"The solution takes up too much CPU and memory."
"McAfee Total Protection for Data Loss Prevention needs to improve the resources it uses for CPU and RAM."
"It could improve how it deals with solar data."
"Pricing is expensive."
"There are mostly performance issues."
"There is room for improvement in the documentation around the maintenance of the product, how the automatic updates work, and pushing out new policies. A little more detail and context in that area would be helpful."
"The product is still overly complicated compared to other vendors such as Check Point, which could be improved."
"The configuration for Palo Alto Networks firewalls requires specifying many details, such as protocols and services."
"The solution needs improvement in stability. There has been feedback regarding the accuracy of file categorization."
"Its scalability is not on par with the features of others."
"You need to have an external solution to backup everything. For example, you need to have Syslog installed on your server as well so that you can back it up to another place."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The solution is expensive when compared to other products but offers unlimited bandwidth."
"A free version of the solution is available."
"For Cloudflare, I recommend it heavily for small businesses with revenue under a couple of million dollars. Onboarding is easy, and they even have a free plan. This makes it simple for businesses in the $100,000-$500,000 range to try it out and see its value, allowing them to scale up their infrastructure as needed."
"The product's pricing is cheap."
"The price is reasonable."
"In terms of licensing costs, we don't pay for licensing for Cloudflare. We only establish communication, then for peering, Cloudflare takes care of the cross-connection in different data centers."
"The pricing depends on the usage, but the cheapest would be around 5,000 USD a month."
"I believe their performance has improved, but I'd like to refrain from discussing the pricing aspect related to the cloud. The pricing, in my opinion, could be simplified, and I think they should consider reevaluating the pricing for support, as it can be quite high. At times, this cost can make it challenging to choose CARFAGuard or opt for the support."
"If the client purchases the entire suite of McAfee Endpoint, the license is included."
"There is an annual license to use this solution."
"Licensing fees are paid on a yearly basis."
"I would rate the solution's pricing a six out of ten."
"It's not a cheap option."
"I'm paying the license for McAfee Total Protection yearly. It could be cheaper, but it's fine."
"The price of the solution could improve, it is expensive. We typically sell one and three-year licenses."
"McAfee Total Protection for Data Loss Prevention is expensive."
"It's expensive."
"The licensing model is very fair-minded and it's a good value. It scales well... Its licensing model is more streamlined when compared to other DLP solutions."
"The pricing of the solution depends on the buyers. But, from my point of view, it is in line with the rest of the products and the price list of Palo Alto."
"Palo Alto Networks Enterprise Data Loss Prevention is expensive, and licensing costs are monthly."
